Monica Lewinsky has described the public humiliation she suffered after her affair with President Bill Clinton was exposed as 'excruciating', and said it brought her 'very close' to attempting suicide.
The 42-year-old former White House intern became a household name after her friend Linda Tripp secretly recorded conversations with Lewinsky discussing the affair and passed them on.

It's not clear that she has made very much money at all, especially in comparison to other people who have tried to exploit their involvement in scandal. She sold handbags for a while, briefly worked for Jenny Craig, and briefly appeared on some TV shows.
According to Wikipedia she spent 10 years out of the public eye from 2005-2014, so she couldn't have been simultaneously cashing in on her fame. If she didn't come from a wealthy family, maybe she would be having financial trouble.
Agree with your percentages somewhat. But for Monica’s faux paux nothing would have happened with her. We need to protect our girls from their own naivete
Ofcourse we should. But everyone does something stupid in their life. Granted, most people don't have affairs with American Presidents. But, one could compile a very long list of women who had longer, more involved affairs who did not go through the grinder the way she did.
I agree.It's wise for young girls to be taught,particularly as they reach their teens,that boys/men take time to truly figure out and that it's wise to at least suspect that a guy's up to no good until you've taken the time to study him...test him...get a true sense of what makes him tick.
And for the record...I'm a guy,so I know!

Please understand that I do not agree with the sequele to Monica’s flirt, jut to the flirt.
Either:
He's one of the biggest pu$$ies in the world and was afraid to defend his daughter
He was paid off by the Clinton's to keep his yapper shut.
He was such a brain-dead liberal, that his loyalty to party and the Cause trumped any feelings for his daughter.

Problem is, Monica still loves that Palsied, syphillitic old lug. She’ll be campaigning for Hillary this fall.

Had Bernie Lewinski come out and demanded Bill’s resignation, and publicly shamed him for sexually using his daughter she might have had a life. Regardless of whether Monica was willing, she was 23 years old, and he was the President of the United States.
Her life could have been salvaged and the public and media would have turned on Bill. He would have been driven from office in shame over him leading with his penis instead of his brain.
I always wondered who got to Bernie Lewinski and prevented him from speaking out. Either they threatened him like gangsters, or bought him off. I don’t know of any man who would not leap to defend his daughter under the same circumstances.
