The line to get into Rainbow Gardens this afternoon was very long, with people waiting for more than an hour to get a good spot.
The venue anticipated 2,000 people to attend, and it looks like they predicted right.
Thousands of people are coming out to support Republican candidate Ted Cruz. The line wrapped around the Waldameer parking lot, with supporters waiting to listen to Cruz speak.
Many people are not surprised he chose to come to Erie and believe he can beat Trump for the nomination.
Some say they have supported Cruz from the very beginning, and others say they have recently made the switch to support him.
Overall, many people are happy he chose to speak in Erie saying it shows he is paying attention to the smaller cities.
One local GOP party volunteer was given the chance to ride the Ravine Flyer with the Presidential candidate and says it is something he will never forget.
The 65 seat Mickey Dee’s venue sold out overnight. :-)
It must be a flock of yellow bellied sapsuckers.
LOL! What a culture of lying!
Cruz WORKS Duh Donald TALKS.
Ted is going to EARN the nomination while Trump lazes to defeat.
That number wouldn't even constitute a warm up act for a Trump rally.
Trump’s press conferences are bigger than Teddy’s rallies.
Trump’s has 1.2 million view his rally videos on RSBN since Wisconsin.
You are really shredding your credibility in here by changing headlines to fit your agenda. Tens of thousands articles posted over the years, and now you’re becoming Baghdad Bob.
At the beginning of the campaign you maintained some balance, but that has disappeared.
It’s sad to watch.
Cruz supporters flocking to see Cruz, is not news. It’s dog bites man. It’s captain obvious.

The funny part is the first in line to get in was a Democrat.
People coming to hear Cruz speak for many different reasons.

This is nothing like the article that is on the website which datura posted...What happened?
Donald Trump takes dumps bigger than Teddy's rallies. Also they're filled with gold nuggets created by his digestive processes.
