Michael J. Fox is a tragic shell of his former self and so crippled by Parkinsons disease that he needs help getting into a car. On Feb. 15, the reclusive 54-year-old actor tried to enjoy a rare night out with his actress wife Tracy Pollan at the Hollywood restaurant Craig's.
As Pollan followed, the stricken Back to the Future star, whose speech is slurred and who walks with a limp while dragging his left foot, was put into the vehicle by several helpers.
"It was heartbreaking," an insider told RadarOnline.com. "Michael's bravery knows no bounds. But as the disease takes its toll on his body, even he is beginning to see that his battle is a losing one."

Are we still paying reparations to the “Mouse that Roared”? :>)
He must be off his meds again, just like for those anti-Bush commercials.
Snopes is best known for lying. I think I may have read one thing they told the truth about. Maybe.
Lib or not, prayers for his recovery, and thanks to God for my (relatively) good health.
Amen, and for you too. It’s a devastating thing to deal with as anyone who’s had a friend or loved one afflicted knows. And if there is a cure to be had from adult stem cells, more power to the researchers.
I still get a kick out of Fox as the “junior Rush” on the old Family Ties reruns on ME TV.
Yes, it's brave to suggest the innocent should die so he can have a cure for his disease.
Nancy Reagan did too. I think when they see or have a loved one in pain, they want to do what they can. Ethics and morals be damned.
He seemed alright back when the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future rolled around and he made some appearances, but you could tell things were taking their toll.
He was on Jimmy Fallon not long ago with Christopher Lloyd. They were both in character as Doc and Marty. Michael didn’t say much, but he really did a good job given the circumstances.
I always like him, starting with Family Ties, seems like a great guy, may the Good Lord have mercy on him.
Sad, but very ell fought Mr. Fox. Prayers up.
My short stint in AMWAY taught me a few things .... ONE of 'em is;
We all talk to ourselves .... what do you say when you talk to yourself ?
The warrior mortally wounded ... what's he saying as he dies ?
things like that
More people should become intimately familiar with themselves
Fox wants to live ... I think ... that's all.
How do you pronounce “Duchy”? (Not intending to be smarty;
so nobody make jokes!)
Michael J. Fox has my eternal appreciation for bringing to life Alex P. Keaton and Marty McFly.

I don't know how fast it progresses but Larry seems to take it in stride and doesn't allow it to stop him from doing what he loves......
He was buying coke with pepsi money.
Tully Bascomb will kick his @ss...
If anyone has seen his character in The Good Wife (a law procedural) - it’s awesome - instead of hiding the Parkinson’s, he plays a total sleaze bag lawyer with a Parkinson’s-like disease, always overdoing his limping and getting sympathy, uses it completely cynically to win favor from judges and lawsuits for victim groups ... one of the smartest, best and funniest characters of this decade.
