Trump Is The Weakest GOP Front-Runner In The Modern Era
FiveThirtyEight.com ^ | APR 11, 2016 | HARRY ENTEN

Posted on 04/11/2016 1:04:53 PM PDT by Kegger

Despite getting drubbed in Wisconsin this week, Donald Trump has won more votes than any other Republican candidate this year. So, he’s doing OK, right? Well, for all the talk that unbound delegates and quirky convention rules could prevent Trump from winning the GOP nomination, it’s easy to forget that Republican voters also play a part. Trump’s 37 percent of the cumulative primary vote and 46 percent of delegates won so far may sound impressive, but his percentages make him the weakest Republican front-runner, at this point in the process, in decades.

See the losers in their graph and they expect to take this seriously. LOL

If Trump is so bad then cruz must be even worse. It’s sort of like cruz always saying Trump did not get 45% of the vote and yet he did worse than trump, only t be repeated on here by the paid establishment hacks

I believe that 100%.

And they know he has zero chance. He’s just not likeable.

If Trump is so bad then cruz must be even worse.

If this is the best response you've got, then we are simply doomed.

This is another stupid statistic that compares things in a meaningless manner. If this was intended to be serious and not just for political maneuvering, then I am surprised. I expect better from Harry Enten. He certainly knows better.

Trump ran in a larger field than the other leading candidates for longer than they did. Of course he has a smaller share of the cumulative votes.

The big clue on whether this was an honest error or was intended to support a predetermined conclusion: The time window in the graphic started at 1980 and left out the most recent contested primary. Coincidence? I think not!

According to Trump supporters, he should be anointed now and we should just skip the convention.

Another obvious thing they don’t point out in the graph is that there were 17 republican candidates at the start of this race. That would certainly keep the vote percentage lower for Trump.

It is a misleading graph or being pushed by someone really very stupid.

“...Trump ran in a larger field than the other leading candidates for longer than they did. Of course he has a smaller share of the cumulative votes...”

Exactly...

But don’t expect the GOPe lovers to figure that out...

Because nothing says “weakest candidate ever” more than tens of thousands of folks at rallies more than six months before the election.

Some of the Colorado Republican leaders are finally risking the anger of Trump fans (shown in the following).

American Fedn of St/Cnty/Munic Employees [State/County/Municipal Employees]
[Total Contributions:] $94,708,977
[To Dems & liberals:] $93,739,954

[Pct to Dems & liberals:] 99%
[Pct to Repubs & Conservs:] 1%

Leviathan (Uncle Sam employs more people than you think)
National Review ^ | 02/03/2011 | Iain Murray
"...nearly 40 million Americans employed in some way by government."

...and pensioners from the same.

It can't go on with no sustainable revenues from many new manufacturing starts on private, rural properties. Repeal the regulations and fees against owner-building and new, small manufacturing starts, or take the racketeering to the conclusion of the default process and face the consequences. NIMBYs go home to the east now or with your foreclosures of the very near future.

Look at all the big jumps in March ...

Of course none of the other candidates had opponents staying in the race once they were mathematically eliminated.

More nonsense from the hate Trump droolers.

Did you read the other part of the post?
Did you bring anything to the table, hell no?

Now tell me then if Trump is doing bad then cruz is doing worse, but you go ahead if you want to correct that instead of making stupid comments with no facts.
