RadarOnline.com has obtained a top-secret State Department briefing that rips U.S. Ambassador Kennedy’s work at the American Embassy in Japan, citing “confusion among staff” and other “major” issues!
President Obama appointed Kennedy, 58, as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan in 2013. Since then, an investigation has uncovered and detailed 65 charges against the facility, which employs 727 people and has a yearly budget of almost $100 million.
Most notably, the report revealed that Kennedy often runs over that budget, and that they found $2.3 million in “funds [that could be] put to better use.”
There is also reported “confusion among staff” across the embassy, according to the report, and “major management challenges” in the public-affairs section. Staffers also “lack the guidance they need to make day-to-day decisions on optimal allocation of limited U.S. government resources,”

Jacqueline Kennedy grew up in an era during which women were raised to be adjunct to their husbands. She did a wonderful job as First Lady, and again as a mother to kids whose family was literally under fire. She will always be a symbol of dignity and grace under duress.

The high end embassies are for the donors to the winning party’s candidate. The UK, Vatican, Japan, France always seem to go to some knucklehead with money. There is no demand among the monied class donors to be ambassador to say Somalia, Iraq or Syria; career types always get these posts.

Yeah, that and a bomb in the tail of the plane. NASA astronauts have a hard time with that malfunction, too, so maybe you should cut him a little slack on it. I agree w/ you 100%. She was lovely & had grace galore. She lived in a glass house but don’t we all.
I always liked the story of her taking cabs in NY. She would ask the cabbie to stop at a news stand. She would get the papers & 2 candy bars......one for her & one for the cabbie.
