Arby’s medium roast beef sandwich with “horsey sauce” or a MacDonald’s double cheese burger.
Usually just a quarter pounder with cheese.
And never fries. Everyone knows the fries are at least as damaging to arteries as the burger itself...maybe more so.
Trans fat kills, as sure as the day is long.
Make your burgers at home from beef no more the 15% fat. Many fast food joints use 35-40% fat burgers and don't cook them long enough to render out much of it.
Home made burgers can be healthy.
Can’t say I’ve ever eaten any of those monster sandwiches. Fast food burgers from time to time? Sure. Cheeseburger with pickles and onion, hold the rest of the fixins, no sauce. Why tamper with perfection?
Why are they picking on nutritious burgers that have healthy lettuce, tomatoes, and onions? Athletes need fat and protein and carbs from the meat, bread, and cheese. We just need to walk, run, bicycle, box, and swim a bit more.
Man, they got me jonesing for a hamburger bad.
Hurts my feelings they didn’t include Chilis’
Old Fashioned Hamburger with cheese, though.
I feel cheated, and thinner.

In and Out burger is worth it. You support Christian enterprise AND you get to meet God sooner. /s
I am still acting the darn thing. Every French fry on top of it is a big FU to the left.
Anyways, they are all too busy getting cancer from eating too many vegetables.

Honestly, the carbs are what freak me out the most about those menu items. The Carls Jr Thickburger El Diablo has 80 grams! It makes my pancreas hurt just thinking about it.
That settles it...In N Out Double Doubles Monster style for lunch.
This thread is making me hungry.
If you feel guilty about eating the burger, just wash it down with a Diet Coke.
I could eat two of those right now. I’d have to put a few fries in each one to add on a few more calories though.
Wouldn't splinters be a problem? At least you get a lot of fiber.
There’s a burger joint outside Richmond, in Henrico county (on Broad St.), that makes a five POUND hamburger. If you can finish it, it’s free.
Very good burger.
I’m having a senior moment...can’t think of the name...

Now my lunch calendar is set for the next 20 days.
It is the carbs in the bun and the fries that are the worst part of that fast food stuff-they are empty calories with little nutrition-I’ve eaten natural and healthy since childhood, and I avoid most carbs-my job requires physical work-I weigh the same as I did at 17.
The article has me jonesin’ for a burger, so I’m going to cook one on the grill this evening-a nice thick patty of 85% lean grass-fed beef from the butcher shop, some sharp cheddar real cheese, fresh onion slice and sliced serrano pepper on top-no tasteless, carb-filled bun to spoil the grilled meat flavor-with a little salad of baby greens, tomato and avocado with vinaigrette, I call it dinner-plenty of protein, “good” fat, raw veggie fiber and almost no carbs-costs about $3.00, too...
