When pressed by Matthews, Trump added, "I have, actually, believe it or not, I have a lot of friends that are Muslim and they call me. In most cases, they're very rich Muslims."
"But do they get into the country?" Matthews then asked.
"Oh, they'll come in," Trump responded, later adding that the ban will have exceptions.

The response to Trump’s Muslim immigration ban has always amazed me. He was of course referring to what people normally refer to when people think of immigrants. That normal conception does not encompass American Muslim citizens, Muslim government officials coming to the United States on business, Muslim businessmen on a legitimate trip. It is laughable.
You useful idiot .
The talking points memo is a radical left wing blog or are a you DUTroll too !
Only leftists read this crap .
Only radical leftists read this far left blog .
I have reported you and this left wing post .
Enough of your nonsense !
Now far left blogs that trash Trump are allowed .
Great company you trolls keep !
Oh I agree with you. That is a posting of a leftist rag. ( just like all the recent Cruz adultery postings on here )
%100 agree with you on that point.
One little problem - Trump did say in the interview what was posted.
Why would Trump submit to idiotic questioning from Matthews?
It's not and he did not say that Muslims would be allowed in if they were his friends.
What sex scandal?
Trump may be the only candidate Hillary can beat like a drum. Ever hear of “women voters”?
Trump is a very unusual political animal. A man running as both a populist AND as a tycoon. I can’t think of that. Usually the populists try to pretend to be poor men of the people even if they are loaded. At the very least they downplay the wealth. But Trump brags about how rich he and his friends are even as he cultivates a following among blue collar workers, union members, farmers, etc. Pretty unusual stuff.
The following have nothing to do with my "feelings":
I want a president who understands and will adhere to the limitations of his or her office and the Federal Government in general as outlined in the U.S. Constitution. I have seen little or no evidence that Donald Trump understands those limits or would honor them if he did. Quite the opposite. We've had one wannabe king by executive order. I do not want another.
Another country starting with the letter A that I've spent time in is Argentina. People who call Trump a Hitler are ignorant and stupid. One thing about him I find very appealing is his regard for Israel and the Jews. And by all accounts he is a very different person in private than in public. But if he and his movement can be compared with anything from the twentieth century it is Peronism, a mix of bombastic populism and extreme economic protectionism. I have pointed out in comments that as an international trader I see tariffs as a useful tool but one that must be used carefully and in limited circumstances without distorting an economy and making things worse for all. Border wall, deportation, and strict enforcement of immigration law? Great. Tariffs on imports from currency manipulators like the PRC? Wonderful. Unleash our warriors and give them the equipment they need? Even better. If I thought any of it from Trump was more than hot air I'd be on board. But I don't and am not.
The next reservation I have about Trump may border on "feelings". He gives me the sense of someone who's compensating. It's the bombast, total lack of humility, or any evident sense of humor about himself. I've known businessmen who behaved that way and could never bring myself to trust them. His thin skin reactions on Twitter and what seems for all the world to be a mean streak toward women is disturbing. I'd love to put a genuine businessman into the presidency. Show me a Jack Welch and I'd put him in the White House in a New York minute. But Donald Trump? Sorry, but no thanks.
Now, will I vote for him if he's on the ballot opposite Clinton or Sanders? I would. And I'd hope you'd do the same if it turns out the name isn't Donald Trump.
I guess I'd say, "Hey look, Cruz finally caught up to Trump."
Once you wake up from your coma, you may find that there has been a lot of talk about Cruz mistresses. You may even find that one or more have gone to the tabloids to brag about their exploits.
Wait. You said that you’d pay that mother for the pie that she laid out for cruz?
lol
LOL I deal in facts, not fantasies.
