A little late getting the new thread posted this morning.

Marissa has been at Music Camp all week. She comes home today. We went to the evening recital last night and will go to another this afternoon. She has been having so much fun that she will probably want to stay.

Last night she and another camper sang a duet and she accompanied them on the guitar. She is growing up; she showed so much poise when she introduced the two of them. She is not shy about public speaking.

I love hearing about you and Marissa. I was a camp counselor one summer, and there were two sisters (also counselors) who played guitar. We would have a large campfire and have sing-alongs. Your story brought back some happy memories. :)

I’ll be there!

The music camp is at the local Christian University. She loves staying in the dorms and making new friends and seeing her friends from last year.

She wants to go to school there but her grades are not good enough for a scholarship and I sure can’t pay $37,000 a year. LOL She will have to go in deep debt if she insists on going to school there.

Difficult choices. They’re the beginning of maturity. :)
