Pure vanity for the very best of reasons (less about that later).
What repels gypsies?
What is their cross, their holy water, their sunlight?
I have a friend who needs to ward one off.
My Brother-in-Law had his wallet picked while on the Paris subway.
Surprisingly the French cops recovered it with the money still in it. They said it was Gypsies. They turned it over to the American Embassy.
But there are and have been, for a millennia, Spanish gypsies. They originated the Flamenco dance.
How little money must one have to make a gypsy take pity on you and not steal it?
Sure could. lol
LOL...no, he VISITED a gypsy in only one movie. :-)
That may be a new record. For either side.
They’re supposed to be afraid of the evil eye, but I am not sure what that is.
When I go to Europe, I wear a money pouch around my neck. I made sure I had nothing in my pockets.
I bet that the Irish Travelers like music that has flutes in it.
THE WOLF MAN.
His hair was perfect.
Hunh ?
LOL
The band was named after a 16th century agriculturist.
Even in the mid '80s, they were HORRIBLE in England and in Italy, they kidnapped tourists' children and held them for randsome.
Do you mean Travelers (not really gypsies) Carnies (also usually not really gypsies) or the "cross my palm with silver" type (sometimes a real gypsy usually not).
All of them don't care for the police.
Close one, Nully. :)
Seed drill and Horse drawn hoe.
Who you callin’ a hoe???
They are expert pick pockets and now the kids hang around ATM machines, especially in Paris near famous sites and pick pockets, steal wallets, and PIN numbers. They’re a curse!
Especially the guys with the twin lightning bolts on their lapels.
