Those of us who’ve pledged that we will never, ever vote for Donald Trump always get the same response: “You’d put Hillary Clinton in the Oval Office instead?” Clinton’s name is spoken like an epithet, as if it’s unthinkable that any conservative would take any single action that could facilitate her election. I will not, under any circumstances, vote for Clinton, but I also do not believe that Trump would make a better president. Not because Clinton isn’t as bad as you think, but because Trump is worse than you imagine.

He was a well known and highly feared public person of his time. Everyone knew who he was.

The rank and file voters are being shown that they can pick the candidate of the choosing of the GOPe and no one else. Even if the rank and file eliminate one or two they will always have a third option.
This year we believed we had at least three of the outside candidates in Trump, Carson and Cruz. In reality we only had two, Carson and Trump.
Either Cruz has always been a stealth candidate of the GOPe or he sold himself out.

Because the facts disagree with your statement.
The US Economy isn’t his “whole life” and his businesses aren’t entirely “built around the US economy”.
In fact he has very significant investments in other countries. Which means other countries have a string on him.
What is unknown is how strong those strings are. Any other person and people would be asking questions and wanting answers. Somehow Trump is avoiding that, probably through his excellent marketing and control of his brand.
I just don’t understand this lunatic thinking. Not a fan of Trump, but he is still better than Hillary, just as Romney was better than Obama. People are so messed up.
