The US Economy isn’t his “whole life” and his businesses aren’t entirely “built around the US economy”.
In fact he has very significant investments in other countries. Which means other countries have a string on him.
What is unknown is how strong those strings are. Any other person and people would be asking questions and wanting answers. Somehow Trump is avoiding that, probably through his excellent marketing and control of his brand.
