A man who was wearing an American flag bandanna when he slashed a 53-year-old woman in the neck in broad daylight in Brooklyn is under arrest in New Jersey, police said Sunday.
Gregory Alfred, 25, was picked up over the weekend by cops in Sayreville for the March 10 slashing in Ditmas Park, police said.
The womans neck was cut at 9:45 a.m. on Beverly Road between Argyle Road and Rugby Road, cop said.
The suspect discarded a large kitchen knife, black plastic bag and an American flag bandanna after the attack. Cops were able to lift fingerprints from the items, the sources said.

Summary: Situational awareness—the need of our time!
The article didn’t bother to give us his criminal history, which was likely how he was caught (fingerprints on record, circulated pic, got tip, arrested). Was he out on bond awaiting trial? Frequent felon? Why don’t journalists realize this is very relevant information?
This plague of random stabbing and slashing by AA criminals ramped up soon after the Palestinians started using it as a terror tactic in Israel. What a coincidence!

You must always be aware of your surroundings when you step outside your house. Seeing a face with such a stupid look on it should always raise an alarm. It’s too bad that only the rich and famous can carry in New York city.
There has been an epidemic of slashings in NYC. Virtually all the slashings are black men attacking whites and Hispanics. Black males have been sneaking up on white people or Hispanics and cutting them (usually in the face or neck) with various types of blades.
This has been going on for the last six months. Go to Google or some other search engine and enter "NYC slashings."
