MSNBC reporters across Ohio report on an exceptionally high rate of Democratic voters crossing over to the Republican Party.
The Sorros contributions to John Kasich should shine more light on what is going on.
Mississippi in Ohio... nothing is too low for the GOPe.
And how many of those votes were democrats voting in the republican primary instead of the democrat primary? regardless of which way all these democrats voted (some will argue the dems padded the Kasich ballot box and some will argue they went more to Trump) in the primary, it is safe to say those democrats are more likely to return to the shrieking shrew in November regardless of who the GOP nominee is.
Not necessarily. This COULD be the first real evidence of the “missing 4 million conservatives” who “stayed home” in 2008 and 2012.
This is an article of fact on the right, but I have yet to see real evidence of it-—but this could be that evidence.
I seriously doubt, with a contested election on the Dem side and a candidate who seemed to be energizing the left, Bernie, that any Dem would waste a vote in a GOP primary.
The uninformed Buckeyes will gather together on Nov. 8 to sing the praises of Mrs. Bill!
What were the Democrat vote numbers?
Operation chaos ll
or
Reagan Democrats
it will be interesting to find out, come November.
If the GOPe cave and Trump is the nominee.
But we must remember, the GOPe only cave to the Democrats.
“We do live in interesting times” says Tuple as he slides another casing in to the Rock Chucker.
Says TUPELO Damn’t
Damn auto correct.
Kasich won one primary.....At 0330 this am, I had emails from Kasich asking for money because “we know Americans are sick of the the divisive politics in this primary season,” I thought ‘You ain’t even a candidate’. Then I junked him.
and all of those missing conservatives would overwhelmingly support John Kasich? and when the consequences of such a decision are so clear? I don’t know about that.
Lyman T mag here.
Could they be crossing over to try to get a weak candidate nominated?
I think Ohio Dems crossed over for Kasich in order to prolong our infighting and to help guarantee a convention floor battle. If Trump had locked it up last night, we could cause all kinds of problems for Hillary in her primary battle with Bernie and they wanted to prevent that as well. It may be more complex than that even.
Like I said, with the Dem election in doubt, I seriously doubt many Dem voters switched for “chaos.”
In fact, I can give you one direct anecdotal example: a house down the street has a Trump sign.
In 2012, they had an Obama sign.
All I say is Bernie is in it for the long haul. Just makes Hillary look bad and thats good.
