I have been on Free Republic for almost 15 years and almost never post anything. Love to lurk and post occasional response. In mid-February I changed my preference for President from Cruz to Trump. I've seen many others who have made a similar change in the past month.
I'm curious to learn those who have changed from Trump to another candidate, and why. I hope I have posted this correctly. If not, I apologize beforehand.

I was gonna support trump as my second choice, but now I will write in Cruz no matter what...

I was for Trump and Cruz in second place.
Now it is Trump all the way and negative on Cruz.
When protesters shut down a Trump rally and Cruz blames it on Trump, Cruz is part of the problem.
2+2 has always been very nice to me. I love 2+2. And 2+2 is a vet, and we love our vets.
Thanks for being honest. But we sure could have used all these Trump fans years ago when we AND cruz have been fighting D.C.

I started out Dr. Carson. Then went to Cruz. Now I have no one. But it doesn’t matter in my case. I live in N.J. & we have no say in the primary process.
I think I will write in my wifes name. Or maybe Mighty Mouse.
You won’t get very many answers to that question, because there are very few non Trump supporters that are left. We have been mostly chased away. I am about done myself.
To answer your question. I was always Cruz first, with Trump as a strong second. I am now firmly in the “Never Trump” camp, along with the rest of my family.
Not a bad idea. Mighty Mouse would be a better president than Trump.
I will never let the perfect be the enemy of the good. I will vote for the nominee because it’s important to defeat the socialists. Everybody still running in either party is loathsome, IMHO, but I’ve rarely been able to vote for someone I like.
