As far as I can tell, Donald Trump is an unprincipled vulgarian. He would make a big show of deporting illegal aliens, only to "let the good ones back in." He supports single-payer healthcare. Before he flipped on the issue, he wanted to admit tens of thousands of Syrian "refugees." He has very un-American strongman tendencies.
Yet he's leading in the Republican primaries. So please help me understand: How would President Trump be better than, say, President Cruz?
If Trump doesn’t deliver, then we will be seeing 20 consecutive years of Democrat rule in the White House. The next chance of getting a Conservative will be 2028. I’m not willing to take that chance when we could instead have a Conservative in 2016.
What exactly have the conservatives in congress accomplished?
Obamacare scrapped?
Illegals deported?
Wall built?
Anchor babies outlawed?
National debt reduced?
Abortion restricted?
China trade deficit reduced?
Food stamp growth curbed?
Welfare growth reduced?
Fraud in Medicare & Social Security under control?
Trump will deliver at least 3 or 4 of above, Which the
conservative career politicians have failed to deliver.
That is why I support Trump.

Cruz published a highly complimentary piece about Roberts in National Review with the obvious purpose of advocating for his confirmation.

Seems like you got the idea of winning stuck so deeply in your head that you haven’t even stopped to ponder what you are “winning”....Winning a RINO for prez is hardly something to rave about....but go ahead if it makes you feel better.
Most of the clichés here I’ve seen have come from Trump supporters...stuff like “build the wall” and Trump can “win win win”, and “make America great again”.....all sorts of rhetoric that Trump puts out without backing it up with some sort of plan...

Trump needs to be very careful with who he selects as his VP. Trump will commit some sort of high crime or misdemeanor within his first six months; and anyone who thinks the GOP and the Democrats would join up to impeach him could very well be mistaken. If Trump’s civil RICO trial gets ugly for him, the GOP may find a way to dump him, or get him elected and then impeach him.
The only person Trump could name as his VP running mate that would cause Congress to hesitate is Ted Cruz.
Trump is a time bomb, and he will explode at some point.
