They should be thanking Trump for ripping them off, because they would have gotten ripped off worse had they not signed up for the course?
True. That’s why their favorite candidates are beltway lawyers creating laws stifling freedom and promoting regulations destroying business and our economy.

This made me laugh. It is comparable to suing Chuck Norris and Christy Brinkley because your (as seen on TV) Total Gym workout equipment did not make you look like them (gender appropriate of course).

So have their candidates. They have never done anything but cash government checks. Conservatives used to claim that didn’t want career politicians, but that doesn’t seem to be true.

EXACTLY - that was the WHOLE POINT of the University. Glad you understand it.
I confess I don’t know enough about Mr. Trump’s business history to comment in any meaningful manner on whether he’s ‘ripped off’ any other people, or how, when, etc.
I can only add that .... whatever other biz deals Trump’s had..... the TRUMP U thing LOOKS (at least) really bad...maybe because it was largely “average little folk” that lost out on the deal? Something like that, ...
So, I still think it would enhance Mr. Trump’s public image if he could settle with the TRUMP U folks.
This is a typical plaintiff’s bar wetdream - sue where the money is. Linked is the website that includes a copy of the moving papers to decertify this nuisance class action. It is beyond silly by claiming ELDER ABUSE of all things; “a Florida Financial Elder Abuse subclass of purchasers of the Trump University Fulfillment and Elite Seminars who are over the age of 60 years of age and purchased the program in Florida within the applicable statute of limitations.”

Really, All the people gave it the Highest marks. All of them. What crap. Don't the Trumpets realize that he promised hand picked mentors, and his own personalized secrets. Yet, when he was asked about it in a deposition he admitted he couldn't name any of the instructors or describe what was in the curriculum. That's fraud in my book.
You know, if you’re gonna have a GOPe it may as well be an honest one - like Kasich who admits who he is. So, as long as Trump knocks out CRuz and Rubes, then it works for me. At least folks will not be fooled. Personally, I am sick of those lying scumbuckets.

Trump University did not have a training center, either. It rented out meeting rooms in hotels in different cities across the country and hired people to teach others how to succeed in the real estate business. The problem is the "teachers" spent most of the time trying to sign "the students" up for other services, so they could defraud them for even more thousands of dollars.
Sometimes "the teachers" never showed up. One of the plaintiffs received three notebooks and no instruction at all, even though she had paid into the 5 figures.
That is why this is fraud and that is why the media and the dems are going to absolutely expose Trump on this issue in the most brutal manner. They will have to do it since none of the candidates bothered to make this an issue.
This case has been percolating for years and has been in the news from time to time. I am completely flabbergasted that Trump did not handle this before the campaign started. So Trump is going to have to take the stand, under oath, and try to explain away fraud. While outside the courtroom, hundred plus cameras and microphones are recording a tearful interview with a poor lady on how Trump defrauded her and the effect it has had on her life. Then they will move to the next person and record their fraudulent experience at Trump University. Then the next day, the networks will examine every word that Donald spoke on the witness stand and show every voter as to how Trump perjured himself, even if he did not.
Then when they are through with that, the media will bring forth the legions of vendors who are paid just 80% of their invoice. The media will expose Trump's m.o. in which he tells those vendors to be satisfied with me paying 80% of your bill and if you are not happy, then sue me. I read back in December, that candidates for the republican nomination had ads ready to go with the victims saying they were stiffed by Trump. I never saw them. So, we will have to wait for Trump to be the nominee before the dems purchase ad time to expose another form of fraud, which will lead the voter to ask, what else don't I know?
The dems are going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars destroying Trump. Some charges will be true and some will not be true. Recall that man who sat in a chair and said Romney killed his wife. She had cancer and Romney's insurance policies were useless for them and Romney did nothing. The charge was a lie, but the ad ran until the afternoon of election day and helped to show Romney as being cold.
Every word Trump has uttered is a public record and will be used by the dems. Four parts fraud, 3 parts lie and 3 parts jerk and one has to be inhuman before voting for Trump.
In addition, Trump will have to spend $1 billion for the general election and I can guarantee you, he will not do so. Then it will be just too late to do anything about it.
Ask them if they even care.
In fact, you can ask them point blank, "What difference, at this point, does it make?" and see if they even freaking notice.
Nope. We Trump chumps don't get it. You need to post it 100 more times and PUT IT IN CAPS SO THAT WE CAN REALLY GET WHAT YOU ARE SAYING BECAUSE IT IS SO EFFECTIVE WHEN YOU CALL PEOPLE STUPID IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. IT JUST SO CHANGES THEIR MIND AND MAKES THEM WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND.
