Funny you should ask, I was just thinking about “The Brittas Empire” the other day. It’s a scream.

English humor is not my cup of tea, no pun intended, but I would sometimes laugh at Benny Hill.
“I like Chinese, they only come up to your knees”, I guess Monty Python had it’s moments.

“...One Foot in the Grave...”
That’s my favorite!
Also, I’ve always wanted to watch “The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin” but I’ve never caught it. Leonard Rossiter can make me laugh just by doing nothing.

I'm a big fan of "Dad's Army," partly because I think it stands up over time compared to a lot of the others. I much prefer it to stuff like "It Ain't Half Hot, Mum."
"Are You Being Served," "Fawlty Towers," "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Keeping Up Appearances" and "Blackadder" are good as well, and I have a soft spot for "The Goodies." I've also come to enjoy "Last of the Summer Wine," but it took me a while to do it.
Not British - but still Commonwealth - is "The Red Green Show" (and "The New Red Green Show"); my son and I prefer the earlier seasons to the later ones, but YMMV.

The original ‘Fall and Rise’ was the best of the two.

Ripping Yarns, a Michael Palin and Terry Jones series is pretty good if I’m remembering correctly. It’s probably been more than 30 years since I’ve seen it.
