Since 25% of the delegates are so-called “super delegates” and can be bought by the highest bidder (Hillary), an outside candidate must win the popular vote by a 2 to 1 margin over the establishment candidate just to break even. In New Hampshire, Bernie clobbered Hillary by 22 points, but Clinton won the delegate count from that state 16 to 14.

I think it's more of a case of them "managing OTHER peoples' money." Student loans, punched a hole in Mom & Dad's wall, my 'taxes' just came in, etc.
Hillary has to be very concerned that in a general election young Bernie fans would vote for Trump; he probably seems harmless enough to them (as an outsider) - especially compared to Hillary.
At my dumbest in my 60 years, I would never handle my money like this!

And mark my words, Trump will start reaching out to Bernie's supporters once Sanders is thoroughly eliminated from the campaign. Go lurk over at DU for a bit. They're pissed. They feel the game is rigged against them and view Hillary Clinton with the same contempt that we had for Jeb Bush. The only difference is that Bush was never the frontrunner.
