Yep. As I said to Freeper usafa92 another thread tonight,

usafa92: It's been a tough day for them. Poll after poll out of SC has been devastating and prelim estimates are that Trump will take 44 out of 50 delegates with potential of 47. Nevada numbers were brutal as well.

Windflier: If I were a Cruz supporter, I think I would have quietly conceded the primary to Trump after New Hampshire. The handwriting was on the wall even before Iowa, but after the first real primary contest, it was doubly confirmed.

There is no path to the nomination for Ted, because Trump simply has too much momentum and support across all demographics, to overcome. That's been the long and short of it all along, and anyone with their eyes wide open could see it.

The last several months of bashing, thrashing, and hurtful infighting on this site, has been for naught, because the contest was decided by the American people before the first vote was cast.

As they say, 'It's all over, but for the crying, and unfortunately, we're going to be listening to that for months and months to come.

Interesting comments considering the latest national poll shows Cruz leading prochoice pro planned parenthood Trump by 2%.

Maybe Trump should sue Cruz. Lol.

Cause he’s obviously too scared to debate Ted one on one.

Maybe that poll that came out showing Cruz leading the race will inspire more of his supporters to vote for him in the caucus, at least until they’re brought back to reality.

Three lies in one sentence. Damn, you're even better than Ted!

Too many of them are too pissed off at Reality to participate. They know their guy is going down hard, and they'd rather post nasty replies to Trump supporters, wherever they find them.

I've got spitballs flying at me from all over the forum. Serves me right for even commenting.

Cruz is only ahead in two states that are holding primaries soon.

Each loss will chip away at Cruz's national support. Trump is ahead nationally and in most state polls, and not by a small margin. Another double digit defeat, this time in the south which is supposed to be Cruz's ideal playing field, will decimate his campaign.

I predict he drops to single digits after the SEC and drops out well before the convention.

We have had over 7200 votes cast now, by around 1160 FReepers.

I’m starting to take a look at whaI I can determine from the data.

The first big observation (preliminarily) is that after all the insults and bickering, I haven’t seen one person switch candidates. I may have missed it, so don’t hold me to it, but I did nose around quite a bit.

I’ll have some reports out in a day or two.

I think I noticed that Freeper Engraved-On-His-Hands switched from Santorum to Cruz, but that's the only one I noticed (probably because of their nightly Santo vote).

Not surprised at the general observation. I think most Freeps were already settled in their preference by late summer. I know I was, and I'm rigid about it. I think that's also a pretty common sentiment among Republican voters right now.

The tiny 1/3 of caucus voters make up 9/10ths of the hateful, vituperous, vicious posts attacking Trump (not on issues but on hair, etc.)...coincidentally they are the 1/3 most UNINFORMED people on FR, as demonstrated by their posts. I'm beginning to think they are largely illiterate and that's why they can't follow the simplest search terms on Google to locate all the info they need to know to see Ted and Heidi are the Bill and Hill of the 21st century, except 100x more dangerous, as they are bought and paid for and groomed for the last 15 years to represent the interests of the the 1%, The Elite Washington Political and Donor Class, the lobbyists and GLOBALISTS, who put globalism ahead of all things nationalist and PATRIOTIC.

Yes, since my first choice, Rick Santorum, dropped by the wayside, I am now backing Ted Cruz.

On a more melancholy note, I have posted a couple of times over the last few years that my “Dream Team”/”If I were King” administration would be Antonin Scalia/Tony Perkins. I will need different dreams now.

I agree with you about Ted’s Secret Army on Free Republic. They may be small, but they’re noisier than the rest of our community. Some of them have dropped so much ugliness and crap on these pages, that it’s actually changed the atmosphere here. There are a lot of regulars who hardly post anymore, because of all the rancor.

I'm shocked that insults and bickering aren't convincing. If any of you should fail to see the rationality and respect that insults and bickering exemplify, then you would be a total booboohead.
