WAS SCALIA MURDERED?
michaelsavage.com ^ | 2/15/2016 | Michael Savage

Okay everybody, Scalia's death. Let's start it from another point of view. Let's say, God forbid, it's the most extremist justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who never should have been appointed, she was a former head of the ACLU, yet she was ushered in by the Republican RINO's who have destroyed America. Let's say, even though she's been sick with cancer for over 10 years, suddenly she goes to a remote resort in Texas, she eschews Secret Service, and she goes to sleep saying I'm tired at 9:00, she's found fully clothed in the morning with her pajamas on without a wrinkle on the bed, with her hands folded over her chest, with a pillow over her head. Question: do you think the left would be screaming foul play if a Republican were in office like Donald Trump and only a few months left to go? Do you think the left would be screaming that Donald Trump would have no right to appoint anyone to the Supreme Court? Do you think they would be demanding an autopsy and a full federal investigation?

Now let's begin the Savage Nation. Because that's exactly what happened yesterday with Justice Scalia. The question is, is it a conspiracy theory to ask questions that are so obviously in need of answer, or is it just common sense. And where is the common sense both in the press and the Republican Party. The answer is nowhere. And that's why I am Michael Savage.

With his last effort, he places the pillow over his head

The people who found him said that his hands were neatly folded on top of the sheets. If moving the pillow was his last effort, his hands would be next to the pillow. Also why would he suddenly realize that he has been poisoned when he is already lying serenely in bed, and if so, why would he keep lying in this position?

Some people sometimes like to sleep with a pillow over their head. Often hotel beds have a lot of extra pillows. Evidently his large family does not think that the circumstances are suspicious.

Definitely. Someone broke into his room and smothered him with a pillow. Then LEFT THE PILLOW OVER HIS HEAD! Yeah. Uh huh. :-).

Why not? After all, it convinced you that it's not murder, right? So if that was the goal, it worked. Right?

There seems to be a fair amount of wiggle room included in your response. I'm not arguing that a murder occurred. I am just not surprised by the suspicions of those who do.

Shannon Bream on FOX last night attempted to clean up the story line. There was no pillow covering his face. The pillow was over (ABOVE) his head between his head and the headboard. This is not to say he might have been smothered. It is to say a pillow was not found to be shoved down his throat or up his nostrils. Only that it was ABOVE the top of his head.

Carry on. The Pelican Brief was the first thought here as well. All so convenient. And considering the adversaries, all so predictable.

There were certainly many who didn’t want him around: We need a toxicology screen and a full autopsy!

It cannot hurt to have an autopsy. For someone of his importance, it is much too easy to write off as natural causes. But, the events with such a lack of security, outside of his home make things appear a bit questionable. So, for the sake of not feeling like a banana republic, let’s just have the autopsy.

why? It can only benefit. Nothing bad can come from an autopsy. My only concern is the longer we wait, if there is the possibility of any toxins, they will now be nil.

Keep an eye on the judge that declared him dead via phone. She would have had to have knowledge of what was about to happen, if so she is a loose end that will need to be shut up. If something happens to her in the next few months to a year then Scalia was probably done in by someone.

Oh look, an ad hominem personal attack utterly devoid of logical rebuttal based solely on graphic mockery and appealing to juveniles.

How surprising.

There are legitimate questions.

How could the Judge - without seeing the body, without an autopsy to determine the cause of the unobserved death, without even speaking with the decedent’s personal physician - declare the cause of death “natural” or “myocardial infarction”?

The crowd screaming for an autopsy won't accept any result that doesn't support homicide and will discredit it and further feed their conspiracy theories.

Given his position on the court and the politically charged atmosphere currently blanketing the country I think his family absolutely should of had an autopsy performed. I understand why they did not want to do one but why couldn’t they go beyond their familial sense and do it for the sake of the country. Now we’ll have conspiracy theories swirling through the body politic for evermore, clouding history and complicating the political discourse.

If the “officials” would’ve at least pretended to care about Scalias death or respected the American citizens, they would have done an autopsy to at least tamp down conspiracy talk. The fact that they didn’t only fans the flames of suspicion.

Exactly. And the only way his personal physician could exclude an autopsy by phone is if he literally expected Scalia to drop dead any moment, in which case why did he okay the trip, when he saw Scalia a few days before?

This is a gross violation of both law and procedure by this judge, who also denied an autopsy in another suspicious death once before.

If an autopsy is ordered by a Justice of the Peace or Medical Examiners as part of an death inquest the consent of the family is not required. See Texas CCP 49.31
