The only thing that is better than picking out the greatest music ever written is to pick out the most irritating, horrid music ever written. Take a break from the politics for a moment and view my picks, and please add your own!
Here is a link to Ram Jam's- Black Betty
And lastly, this is a song by the band, "War," with guest singer Eric Burdon. You may know Eric as the singer from "House of the Rising Sun," which is an extraordinary song. This one, however, is not.

I don't know what it is about these two songs that drive me insane, but to each his own. Please post your own clunkers and I look forward to playing them.
Worst video? How about Dancing in the Streets by Bowie/Jagger
Stone Temple Pilots - Sour Girl (with Sarah Michelle Gellar)

Only reason I watched more than once.
Beat me to it.
In a pile of gowshawful videos that proliferated in the 1980s and 1990s, that abortion stands alone.
Anything by Yoko Ono.
Okay, Sour Girl is pretty bad. What were they thinking? Macarthur Park I actually like. Ha!

Anything by Sam Smith. That whining, pathetic homo. Ew.
Holy crow, those two are great songs. Watch you not on Willis?
Boom Boom Boom Let's Go Back to My Room
(I heard this song *once* over the speakers while getting my hair cut. It's remained lodged in the esophagus of my mind (as Dave Barry would say) ever since.)
Samwell -- What What (In the butt)
Saw *that* one on an internet flamewar mocking another poster. It too shall live in infamy forever...
Anything by the “artist” known formerly, and presently as Prince.........Nobody digs your music but yourself.
the worst without a doubt.
Worst music video: Billy Squier’s “Rock Me Tonite,” released in 1984 He was a hard rock guitarist who was filing stadiums. Then he did a video for this song, apparently inspired by the movie Flashdance. He dances around in pink pastel clothes. His career tanked immediately.
The Bird is the Word was great background music in the movie, “Full Metal Jacket,” but I agree it is mind-numbing if you listen to it for more than a few moments.
Please give my Mac Arthur park a chance. Watch it and vote it Theee worst!!!

Oh, btw. The Samwell video starts off with a burning cross - which is odd, since I thought that was the trademark of the KKK, and Samwell is black...(!!??)
filing = filling
