The only thing that is better than picking out the greatest music ever written is to pick out the most irritating, horrid music ever written. Take a break from the politics for a moment and view my picks, and please add your own!
I got that. The song went on, I thought, to belittle the prayer-maker for tarrying behind while the grunts went into danger. I’ll have to reconsider my annoyance with that song. To me it seemed peacenik, and anti-Christian.
Sung by Robert Goulet.
WARNING: Listen with care. You may never recover (even if you love Dylan).

BTW=By the way
Yep lyrics from the same guy who gave us the "Pina Colada" song.
Ouch...you don’t lie! lol
Elsewhere on this thread, dfwgator tells me that the writer of that song.. one Rupert Holmes— went on to write “The Pina Colada” song...(awful, but for more pleasant, annoying reasons).
to which I said— “it figures” (meaning he had to improve) improving from human tartare to .... pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Thanks— yes, the entire arrangement/recording and lyrics— they had to have been high— for days.
Oh, my, that Pickle Surprise was strange. Then it led to creepy commercial videos, which I also had to watch.
Weird stuff on youtube is for Friday night, not Wednesday morning when I have to go to work!
That Pal Foot Foot song is simply atrocious! What really sets it off is the description just below: “Better than the Beatles—even today.” Yow!
The Shaggs are...The Shaggs.
> âElektronik, Supersonikâ by Zlad! must have been made to be bad.
It was.
No mention of “Born to be Alive” by Patrick Hernandez
LOL!! Now THAT is funny!!
Worst music? Probably anything post 1985.
Just remembering Earth Wind and Fire founder, makes me realize how great the music of the 60’s and 70’s was and what a dearth of talent there is post 1985.
Hey, I like that song! :-)
No way. Styx was fantastic. Loved ‘em from “Grand Illusion” to “Brave New World”.
