Consider the following:
- The Democrats have no viable candidates, and one very well may be indicted
- The Republican Party is imploding/being made irrelevant by Trump
- The country has no borders
- The Middle East and North Africa are in chaos
- Fox News and many conservative pundits have lost respect of their audiences
- Europe is being fundamentally changed by an Islamic invasion, and is tilting toward civil war
- The "Pope" has more interest in Palestinians than he does Catholics
- The world economy is as shaky today as it was in 2008
Any other seismic shifts that I missed?

Every significant event is there in prophecy. The only hitch is that often they only become obvious when their time is near.
The world is going to hell in a handbasket but, there are still some laughs to be had.
I’d say after 8 years of Obamanomics it is shakier.
After the Iran deal I bought a telescope to see the signs “In the moon, the sun and the stars” Jesus mentioned in the gospels before the end times.
So yes I think the end times are at hand.
It constantly amazes me that folks around here just flat out judge fellow Freepers, without knowing a damn thing abt that person. We cannot know a man’s heart, in the way that the Lord may know him.
Having a nice wife, and a great house doesn’t make a person covetous. He may very well be living a very Christian life, and has benefited from following the Lords words. He may also feel no need to carry the burden of this worlds troubles, instead living apart from it’s drama. Wrapping ourselves in the armour of faith and family is a blessing.

The best day to me is a day spent at home, reading, watching some movies, being with the wife. That’s really all I want out of life, time to enjoy my couch and the contents of my bookshelves.

I think you misunderstood me. I have three small kids and I want the world to be a better place. I observed that I would be better off obsessing about God and his kingdom than the obsessing about the problems in this world I temporarily inhabit.
That does not mean I don’t try to do the right thing.
