The wife of the Broncos owner has had major plastic surgery. Lots of Botox and collagen on those lips, she looked like a plastic doll. She should sue her doctor. LOL, you know this is a football thread, right?!

Thanks to Bender for herding us cats around this thread on a week by week basis. My Saints sucked this year thanks to college level D. Well maybe next year.. The best to all.

I didn’t watch any of it nor am I watching any post game blather. Who said that?
Mike Ditka did it 30 years ago.

Ditka won as a player with the Bears but before the SB era, 63. Won a SB as a player with Dallas and then another as an assistant coach.
If Nance meant “first coach to win a Superbowl with a team he played in a Superbowl for”, that wasn’t clear to me.

LOL! Alright...
In other news Von Miller got his well-deserved MVP, and the losing coach did an interview: “Too many turnovers and learn from the loss”.

That’s why Nance and his hayseed partner suck...they make Buck and Aikman look knowledgable

So y’all know...Marshawn Lynch sent a tweet a little while ago of a picture of a pair of hung-up cleats. It’s being widely assumed this means he’s decided to retire.
Seattle fans are kinda sad tonight.

Jim Nance. He must have meant first coach to win a SB for the same team he played in a SB with , I *guess*.
Ditka’s win as a player with CHI was pre-SB, Kubiak appeared for the Broncos in 2 SBs as Elway’s backup, they lost both, he completed 5 of 7 attempts for 76 yards.

Margot Robbie’s appearance on “Colbert” has too much Tina Fey in it.

What an Earth slut.
Iron Mike was the first, period. It’s not his fault there wasn’t a “Super Bowl” when he played.
He coached probably the best team ever. That ‘85 team was powerful...on a Palpatine-level.

Needless to say, I agree, except for the “probably” part ;d.
ESPN just did a “30 for 30” on the ‘85 Bears, Buddy Ryan featured prominently. I learned some things I didn’t know before.

I saw that too - good stuff.
Yeah, I’d put that ‘85 team up against any other SB winner and feel really good about “Da Bears” beating them all.

Carolina showed me they didn't learn form NE's loss to Denver, nor did they seem to get what they needed to do at halftime.
They didn't pay attention to my 2/6 post# 201 on this thread.
If Carolina passes too much, their lower-tier passing game will be shredded by Denver's top ranked passing defense, the way NE was shredded. Remember, Denver shredded NE's 5th ranked passing game. Carolina's passing game is ranked 24th.
I warned them, but they didn't pay attention, Denver might still have won, but it would have been a better played, more exciting game if Carolina had stuck to their greatest strength: running the ball and especially running their double and triple options. They hardly did that tonight. Too often when they did run, they ran straight into the wall of the interior line instead of veering off tackle and play-optioning to the outside.

Denver was tenth ranked in the NFL in overall scoring (offense scoring minus defense against scoring). Carolina was ranked #1 in overall scoring.
