If Carolina passes too much, their lower-tier passing game will be shredded by Denver's top ranked passing defense, the way NE was shredded. Remember, Denver shredded NE's 5th ranked passing game. Carolina's passing game is ranked 24th.
I warned them, but they didn't pay attention, Denver might still have won, but it would have been a better played, more exciting game if Carolina had stuck to their greatest strength: running the ball and especially running their double and triple options. They hardly did that tonight. Too often when they did run, they ran straight into the wall of the interior line instead of veering off tackle and play-optioning to the outside.
