Need expert freeper help: just bought the casper mattress and even though their customer service is exemplary, the mattress is entirely too hard for me. I've slept on it for 5 nights so far and I have tossed and turned every night, all night, trying to find a comfortable position.
If money is no object, what's the best mattress out there?
We love our IKEA Sultan.
Tempurpedic.....no question, hands down
‘Sleep Number’ but it’ll cost ya.
Sleep number for more than 10 years. I miss it when we travel.
I hear many that have had them say they are too hot - don’t let your body get enough airflow.......??????
I have a mattress which is stuffed with a combination of wool and latex. It was rather expensive. But I have been using it for more than 12 years, and it is still as new, and beautifully comfortable. Soft but supportive.
Sleeping bed on a carpeted floor.
If you get a memory foam bed and like to sleep cool, do your research first. Some of them aren’t cool.
The Sleep number mattress, I’ve had to change the setting at times with my health issues, sometimes harder, sometimes softer.
I’ve slept on a Futon for so many years regular
mattresses just feel uncomfortable.
Got an electric mattress pad this year and it is
sure worth the price.
Serta. Sam’s Club has them in stock.
My granddaughters.
I’ve heard Temperpedic from family - we bought a memory foam topper with a gel top - it’s cooler. We love it.
Casper. Just trashed our 15 year old Sleep Number mattress for the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on;

I have breathable mattress pad which was very expensive. Have had the system for 10+ years....it is amazing. But, yes, I have heard the same re heat for some people.
I don’t like the company - but love the bed.
One’s bed hardness needs change - even over one month, and definitely over age.....life itself is changes.......this is the only one that can change with you, mood, injury, whatever.
Love the way I and wife can change settings for our current needs.......no fixed firmness mattress can do that.
Too expensive - but in the long run, worth it.
That’s a question that will only get a subjective answer. Like asking what’s the best handgun. What fits me won’t necessarily fit you. There is no best. However, my wife bought a cheap spring mattress with box and put a nice tempurpedic type topper on it. Best sleeping mattress that we have. Like sleeping on a cloud.
