16 trips across the Atlantic every year? This is almost as bad as putting a team in Los Angeles.
My thoughts too. I wonder how one team who plays with 16 weeks of perpetual jet lag will do.
I don’t think the TV networks are going to be too keen on this. The ratings won’t be very good for an “NFL Today” show that starts at 9:00 on a Sunday morning.
Some of the talk has been to have the UK team only do their home schedule during the bye weeks, so teams coming over could get the rest, and they’d do the road schedule in two big blocks. It’s going to happen, it needs to happen. With the concussion issue already costing them youth players the NFL needs an international audience, they need more parents more interested in the money than the dangers.

I guess a big plane can fly nonstop California to London-about 13 hours over, probably 15 or 16 coming back?
