Sen. Lindsey Graham endorsed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for president on Friday, the campaign confirmed.
The Seneca Republican dropped out of the presidential race on Dec. 21, and most of his S.C. backers endorsed the son and brother of two presidents. George Bush and George W. Bush won the Palmetto Stateâs presidential primaries.
Graham said last week, in weighing whether to back a 2016 hopeful, that: âNo. 1, will my endorsement matter? Iâve got to see what, if any, damage I have done to myself here at home.â
Bush needs a big push as voters begin soon to cast ballots next month. He is fifth in the national and most early primary state polls, including South Carolina, according to averages compiled by Real Clear Politics.

How Graham can look himself in the mirror is beyond me. He was elected in South Carolina under false pretenses. There is nothing really I can say other than that these guys might as well put a D next to their name.

So everything’s been settled then. Lindsey has spoken!

Guess Jebbie will get the backing of Gramnesty’s supporters—all two of them. Go home to mama Jebbie, you will never be president.

I’m shocked /sarc.
This must mean that the Establishment still has hope for Jeb, perhaps using fighting between Cruz and Trump as a means of knocking one of them out so Jeb is still standing.
Jeb’s people have been attacking Rubio, too so it looks like they have a game plan to make things move so Jeb can win.

Lindsey Graham was part of the GOPe plan to pull in South Carolina for Jebbie. I think the GOPe thought Lindsey was popular enough to win the nomination there, and the plan was (I’m thinking) to hand off Graham’s delegates to Jebbie later. Thankfully, Trump put a stop to that!

Wow! An earthshaking, politically profound endorsement.
I'm sure the collective yawns it causes will change the tilt of the earth.
