All that's left is an angry white guy and they can call it 24: The Mod Squad Returns.
What is “24” without Jack Bauer?
Jack is now a token PC black guy ? As a former rabid 24 fan .. I won’t be watching this one.
A black, a blond, and no gay character?
I kinda liked 24 until I found out what a leftist little puke Kiefer Sutherland is. That, added to the increasingly ridiculous story line, I stopped watching it sometime in season 3.
Maybe they’ll keep this one in the same time zone as reality...
Will he be a muslim and the female character gay...oh wait and will they make the president a muslim and have the enemies be russians who get help from tea party military types...just thinking of Whitehouse Down that awful movie
:: producers currently seeking an African-American actor to take over for longtime series star Kiefer Sutherland ::
No brainer...Terry Crews!
I occasionally watch Bones, but that is about the only Fox Channel program I watch.
I made it through about 10 minutes of Rosewood and Empire before turning the channel.
Formula for failure.
Who’s backing this turkey?
No Jack, no 24.
I watched the entire series of ‘24’ right from the first episode to the last...one of the few shows I paid any attention to when I had cable. Now it seems Hollywood is pandering to sodomites and black Americans...not interested.
No Jack Bauer = I’m not watching it.
Hey, Fox, sometimes you just can’t improve upon the original. This is one of them.
In another switch from the original series, the show will focus less on a lone wolf lead and is more of a "two-hander," with the Boyega character paired with a female co-lead.
I'm not opposed to a new cast, but they should retire Jack Bauer's jersey. New actors need new names.
More friggin tokens. FU Hollywood.
From the description this show is likely to be cancelled after the first 24 minutes are televised.
Kiefer, do you remember when you said you were voting for Obama because the country is ready for a black President?
They would do better to rerun the series than to alter the franchise.
The 24 reboot is about a military hero, âEric Carter,â who returns to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back â compelling him to ask the Counter Terrorist Unit for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
Obviously no reality connections to the plotline; had a citizen asked for such assistance they would have been advised to get a restraining order and perhaps have the situation investigated after their death.
That said, I'll probably watch it until the second episode where they reveal it is some sort of domestic terrorism born from the birther movement or some other nonsense.
Unlike the Don, you guys aren’t slipping. Heard about this news yesterday and was expecting THiS thread this morning. Nicely done!!
If there is no Kiefer Sutherland,I’M out.
