The National Transportation Safety Board wants to decrease the legal driving limit to one drink, lowering the legal limit on blood-alcohol content to 0.05 “or even lower.â€
The agency released its “most wanted list†on Wednesday, a laundry list of policies it would like implemented nationally. The list includes recommendations to reduce the current 0.08 blood alcohol content limit and outlaw all cell phone use while driving, even hands-free technology.

Over reaching fascism aside, I recall there is a Constitution which has a 10th amendment.
Just as "gun control" is not really about guns, it's about PEOPLE CONTROL by the feds.
Just arrest anybody who exhibits symptoms of "white privilege!"
That's the ultimate goal anyway.
MADD and other nannies keep finding new reasons for their existence after they won the battle for which they were founded. How soon before they decide that the time is right for a new Prohibition Amendment to the Constitution?
They can do this in DC...but have zero jurisdiction in the states. The States need to stop this BS.
One drink?
There have been many reports for years now that even admitting to one drink will get you busted for a DWI.

I am old enough to remember when there was freedom in this nation. We have lost so much.
Just goes to show you how truly out of touch and ignorant fedzilla is.
This is a Great idea, I think we should start by MANDATING ALL Public Employees NATIONWIDE have Breathalyzers installed immediately in ALL Their Vehicles and ALL GOVERNMENT Vehicles!
Lead by Example.
These rules to soon be followed by a no talking rule in moving vehicles. Absolute silence will be required with a voice cockpit recorder as manditory equipment.
This a triple win for the big government control freeks: It criminalizes another large group of people, it will hit small businesses, and it will force more people on to public transit and automated driving technology.
DUIs are the biggest business in law enforcement.
...And with the “shame,” nobody speaks out.
