The frustrated, depressed actor, roped into doing a cheesy commercial for an electronics retailer. And that little twitch of hesitation before the second line, truly brilliant.
Thanks, Alan.

Yes. Hoax hoaxes.
My thought exactly.

Indeed.
Though just last night I saw him as Louis IV in “A Little Chaos”
That may be what sticks with me now.

Lost way too many awesome people the last couple of weeks. I haven’t finished processing the loss of Lemmy yet, need this to slow down.

Great clip! Agree; nobody equalled Rickman for his use of hesitation. Here’s his most famous—nearly sixty seconds:

Maybe 69 is the new 27.

LOL! I read his autobiography last year, he said the reason he never overdosed was because he was very methodical about his drug taking, like a scientist. He said he would always measure out his drugs precisely LOL LOL! Actually I don’t think he’s human, I saw a show on him on Netflix and the dude was chain smoking one Marlboro after another, not to mention he still drinks the hard stuff yet he gets not so much as a cold. People thought Lemmy of Motorhead was indestructible, Richards outlived even him!

RIP :(
Hans Guber was a classic villain.
I only saw the first 2 “Harry Potters” but he’s well known for that as well.

Well I haven’t seen any of them, since Star Wars was the first time in 10 years I’ve been to theater. I have heard of most of them, but not the directors.
I just hope neither Bryan Cranston (plays commie Dalton Trumbo) or Eddie Redmayne (plays historical tranny Faggy McGenitalsurgery) wins best actor.

It is sad when you look at the list and realize that Leo is probably the least objectionable of the lot.

Yeah, besides the 2 I mentioned MATT DAMON and Michael Fassbender for playing Steve Jobs (eh).
I’d take DiCaprio. He is a good actor at least. I might go see “The Revenant”.

Thank you for the link, CatherineofAragon. Adored that scene -- "Cancel Christmas!" -- it was a shock even to think it back then, and have never forgotten it.
What a sad loss -- he would have been so great in "wise" or "crafty old man" roles.
Also loved him in Truly Madly Deeply and Love Actually.

I am a voice person & I found his swoon inducing. He was so wonderful in Sense & Sensibility. He & Emma Thompson were in many things together. A sad loss.Agreed. So wonderful together in Love Actually.
