Hillary is a liar, and Ted Cruz compared her to his 5-yr old. When she tells a lie, she gets a spanking…so when Hillary tells a lie, she should too! He also explains HOW Americans can spank her…
Ted Cruz knows how to deal with lying behavior.
That's the message the Republican presidential candidate sent to supporters Friday during a campaign stop at a coffee shop in Iowa but his words set off the hypersensitive left.
Cruz was asked by an audience member what he would do to finally hold someone accountable for Benghazi.
The Texas senator complained that President Obama and Hillary Clinton engaged in "deception, obstruction and (a) cover up" and agreed with the audience member that someone needs to be held to account.
"You know I'll tell you, in my house, if my daughter Catherine, the five-year-old, says something she knows to be false, she gets a spanking," Cruz said. "Well, in America, the voters have a way of administering a spanking."
.@tedcruz: Voters should spank Hillary Clinton like I spank my five-year old daughter. #IACaucus pic.twitter.com/FTdmrP4mTv — Samantha-Jo Roth (@SamanthaJoRoth) January 9, 2016 |
Liberals on social media, including Will Wheaton, didn't care much about the four Americans killed at Benghazi but were outraged at the idea that Cruz spanked his child, something that has been done since the dawn of human history.
Cruz: "I hit my 5 year old daughter, and i am going to make a joke about it." unreal. that isn't a real man. — Matthew Dowd (@matthewjdowd) January 9, 2016 |
Ted Cruz: "I hit my child. Hitting children is GREAT! I'm not a shitfuck at all. Vote for me!" — Wil Wheaton (@wilw) January 9, 2016 |
Luckily many others were on hand to call them on their ridiculous indignation.
@wilw it's called spanking and it develops this thing called…respect. #tryagaindude — Jonathan Bass (@Bass_JL) January 9, 2016 |
@wilw your lack of understanding of child development and psychology dissapoints me Will. You are all wrong. Kids need to FEAR punishment. — William Aubin (@billjkd82) January 9, 2016 |
@wilw Hitting and spanking are not the same. Spanking is a last resort attention getter when children can't be reasoned with. — S J (@sandrockcstm) January 9, 2016 |
.@wilw my parents spanked me for lying as a kid. They were right to do it, and I was not harmed by the experiences. Sorry you disagree. — Christopher Coleman (@mellowfish) January 9, 2016 |
@wilw Yea, and because people don't spank their kids anymore is why we have such shitty people walking the streets now…smh. — Tracy Moon (@bamamoon65) January 9, 2016 |
@wilw Hey everyone look, Wil Wheaton doesn't think doing something wrong should be punished! Do you have the same opinion on murder? — colton bauer (@coltonjbauer) January 9, 2016 |
HAH! Classic liberals…offended over, well…everything.
And BTW, I would never call Cruz supporters such names. Maybe a Jeb supporter — where is such rare game in this forum?
Yeah I get it, endure endless attacks from brave stormtrumpers because if you fight back they immediately start whining about their delicate sensibilities.
I’m way past done caring what Trumpanzee democrats want.
When you take as many hits as Cruz takes from the media/left, finding someone you can stand with .. that’s very helpful.
If Trump goes there, then I’d go there too .. simple.
And .. what Trump has been saying, for the most part, Cruz has been saying but the media/left have either bashed it or avoided even mentioning it.
So, why not join with what Trump is saying. You will notice that even though Trump has mentioned that Ted is “me too”, the media has not picked up on that .. because they don’t want to have to deal with more than one “Trump” speaker.
You were just lucky to have a such a child. I have four daughters. I have done very little spanking or almost none with most of them, and they respect me as well.
My stepson, on the other hand, yes, had to be spanked, and guess what, as an adult now, he thanks me for it. He needed it. I always did it as a last resort if he couldn’t be reasoned with it. Should not be first go-to action, but I’m convinced it’s what straightened him out.
Just count yourself lucky you had a decent child to raise.
Yes, he is. Obama is leaving a mark too.
You mean if I had read my bible, I would have spanked her?
All due respect, I've heard better advice in my life.
Maria Shriver has moved on with political constant Matthew Dowd â
Matthew John Dowd (born May 29, 1961)[2] is an American political consultant who was the chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney ‘04 presidential campaign. In December 2007, he was introduced on ABC’s Good Morning America as its new political contributor. He also appears on the same network’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
‘I see me too Ted is once again copying the real man in the race [Trump]’
No, Cruz is a real man. Beyond question.
jpsb, there is no need to insult Cruz’ manhood. Cruz is awsome, but what’s wrong in simply saying that Trump is even more awsome?
So I need to ‘spank’ you both.
‘Obama is leaving a mark too.’
You got that right. Obama created Trump. He also created Cruz.
How's that Hollywood career working out, Wil?
Anything since TNG?
More and more vulgarity is appearing on threads discussing the evangelical candidate. Do supporters think increased nastiness is a winning strategy? If nothing else, it projects zero optimism.
Encouraging. How would that work if barry pardons her beforehand?
Delusional nonsense.
Just about every time a Trump supporter says that Trump is being copied, it turns out not to be correct.
In this case, RINO Rubio called Hillary a liar several months before Trump.
Bill spanked Cancles, but it didn’t work. Cruz is wrong. Hillery needs more than a spanking. She needs jail time with big burly Correctional Officers.
Go and critique your fellow Trump supporters so you can have some credibility. Ted Cruz is a candidate, not an “evangelical” candidate. Name calling and insulting is only allowed for Trumpettes.
I love Wil Wheaton!
However, he's wrong about raising children, and Ted Cruz is correct.
End of discussion, Wil.
Another one with the delusion that everybody copies Trump.
‘Ted Cruz is...not an “evangelical” candidate.’
Noted.
Yup! Spare the rod, spoil the child.
I’ve had recent painful witness to a dear Dr. friend who’s lienence in raising his grade school child has utterly spoiled her.
The kid is insubordinate and shows outright contempt to adults around them (sticks out their tongue when told to do something).
The young child is an Expert liar too. So much so, that the school has complained about it.
It’s all I can do but to give the parent a good piece of my mind to tell them what a terrible job they’re doing disciplining and setting boundaries of wrong and right.
I can only delicately hint...
BTW: the parents are left of center high paid professional, low political information democrats.
