I feel at work today. Broke my right hip. Will be in surgery tomorrow. Could always use a few extra prayers

May our heavenly Father who formed that hip and the rest of you in your mother's womb, take away your pain, prevent any disability from developing, guide your orthopedic surgeons, heal your soul as well as your body, grant you the graces to conform your life to His will and grant comfort to your loved ones in this time of need.

Fell and couldn’t get back up no matter what I did. Took six big EMTs to get me up and onto a gurney.

Prayers up.
I’m a Critical Care RN for over 20 yrs. If you’re over 65, the mortality rate of a broken hip at one year is 50%. The difference is mobility. Those that get back mobile do well. So. When the nurses are torturing you to get up and get moving, there’s a method and reason to their sadistic madness.
Get well. Get mobile.

FATHER GOD,
Be with Nifster as he sleeps tonight. Give him peace and rest and bind any fear or apprehension about his surgery tomorrow. Give the doctor’s deftness of hands when replacing his hip and may the artificial hip work as well as a natural one.
May HOLY SPIRIT give him strength and super natural healing. We thank You for Your only Son JESUS CHRIST, Who won the victory through His perfect life, death and resurrection. By His stripes we were healed.
Thank You for Your loving kindness. In JESUS name we pray. Amen.
