Donald Trump has attacked Ted Cruz's eligibility to be President, after saying repeatedly that he saw no problem with it:
Donald Trump said in an interview that rival Ted Cruz's Canadian birthplace was a "very precarious" issue that could make the Texas senator vulnerable if he became the Republican presidential nominee.
"Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question: 'Do we want a candidate who could be tied up in court for two years?' That'd be a big problem," Trump said when asked about the topic. "It'd be a very precarious one for Republicans because heâd be running and the courts may take a long time to make decision. You donât want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head."
This represent Donald Trump's second change of position on the subject. Here's a quote from September of last year:
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has reversed his position on Ted Cruz's eligibility to run for president, now saying his Canadian birthplace shouldn't disqualify him.
"I hear it was checked out by every attorney and every which way and I understand Ted is in fine shape," Trump told ABC News just before speaking at a Capitol Hill rally blasting the Iran nuclear deal.
I think what's going on here is that Donald Trump is panicking. A great lover of polls, he has seen himself repeatedly falling to second place in Iowa, and now he has fallen to second place in California, behind Ted Cruz.
His behavior resembles Jeb Bush. When Jeb was falling in the polls, he tried saying anything he could to arrest his decline in popularity. Remember how he said "anchor babies" to try and mimic Donald Trump? Or when he oddly told a crowd that Donald Trump is a jerk? Trump seems to be at a loss for words at how to respond to Ted Cruz, contradicting his earlier positions to attack him. Trump has tried attacking Ted Cruz's faith, he has tried attacking Ted Cruz for fighting the GOP establishment, and he has tried to attack Cruz for supporting a border fence, even though Cruz supported one long before Trump did.
Trump's behavior shows that he will say or do anything to be elected President. He was pro-amnesty for illegal aliens, now he's against it. He criticized Bill Clinton's sexual assaults, but invited the alleged rapist to his wedding (because as a businessman, he liked to get along with everybody-even alleged rapists). He was against funding Planned Parenthood on August 3rd, but supported subsidizing Planned Parenthood on August 11th.
Chairman Mao had a hard base of supporters called "To Whateverists", who said
We will resolutely uphold whatever policy decisions Chairman Mao made, and unswervingly follow whatever instructions Chairman Mao gave
It didn't matter what the instructions were, as long as they came from Chairman Mao. Donald Trump has his own group of supporters in the same category, but if the polls keep going in the same direction, they are going to have a very bitter February and March.
“His behavior resembles Jeb Bush.”
Odd. Bush has zero support. Trump has massive support.
(He must be doing something right...)
What BALONEY.
Yeh that’s the ticket. LOL!
Is Conservativejoy driven to desperation driven to posting Baloney?
Well, when the first sentence starts out with falsehoods, the rest of the story becomes moot.
LOL. Careful with that machete, someone might get hurt.

Magic 8 ball says “Without a doubt!”
Baloney at least can be tasty, this is just garbage.
Dive, Trump poll numbers, DIVE!
Yeah. In Reuters he fell from 42 to 41 in three days... It is a collapse!
When Ted Cruz said in a private meeting that voters were going to have to make their decisions based on judgment and strength and that Carson and Trump might find that a challenge, Trump supporters called that an attack.
Now Trump has called Cruz’s eligibility a “precarious situation” and you want to maintain that it wasn’t an attack? Sure.
Trump is being careful here. He’s saying that from his own viewpoint he does not doubt Cruz’s eligibility, while at the same time he’s saying there are significant numbers of doubters out there who do doubt it.
These are not mutually exclusive statements.
He’s saying the situation will be a hard sell to some people.
So Ted knocks off the giant. Can he draw those people clamoring for that giant to the polls in November. I think not
His negative fall in the polls would be enough to cause desperation to anyone who didn't understand that a negative fall is the same thing as a rise.
Not bad for a svengali oligarch blow hard . The sheeple have fallen for another one
News Machete? Here's another of their splashes.

You greatly underestimate Cruz. He is several points ahead of Trump in likeability in the polls, and Trumps negative favorability is more than twice as high as Cruz’s.
Trump added that he hoped it wouldn't be a problem for Cruz.
Would you put it past the GOPe or the Dems to try and make an issue of it?
It wasn't an attack. A reporter asked a question and Trump responded basically saying he doesn't want it to be an issue.
