Is Steven Avery guilty?
Normally I’d say yes. But given the egregious Constitutional violations of the Wisconsin government in the John Doe investigations I can believe that that they would engage in an elaborate frame up that included murdering the reporter.
He’s been a sh!thead since the day he was born. Go research his life. We’re all better off with him behind bars.
Weird. Me and the wife just binge-watched the series this week and watched the last one a couple hours ago. I’m sure we’re only seeing one side, but things really looked screwed up.
Portrayal of that kid’s first lawyer was deplorable.
He set a cat on fire. He was a real piece of work all right.
But how did Gregory Foster’s pubic hair (one) wind up on the rape victim?
He got some very bad legal defense before hiring Stang and the other lawyer.
Who the hell is Steve Avery and why should I care?
As stated previously, I have researched. Departmental collusion and corruption is a difficult thing to keep in line. The question is the same.
Err, why did you click on the thread, then?
Gregory Allen.
Read.
So many unanswered questions. Why put the body in the back of the vehicle? Why hide the vehicle on your own land when you have a car crusher available? Why did the sheriffs department find all these magic clues after the area had been searched over several times easily? The ashes were moved? The sheriff departments questioning of the nephew?
When they could not get the nephew to say she was shot in the head they finally had to tell him she was? The nephew asking if he would be back at school at 1:29 because he had a project due?
I think I'll re-watch it again.
Is that you Sheriff Kocourek?
If you don’t know go away. This is posted in chat.
Netflix series called “Making a Murderer”. Good series imho. Avery served 18 years for a sexual assault before DNA got him exonerated. He presents evidence that the county intentionally ignored evidence of the true perp. He becomes a political photo op. He is about to file a 36 mil wrongful imprisonment suit against the county, when a girl goes missing and her remains are found on his property. He claims he was framed by the county. Lots of intriguing evidence on both sides.
Not sure, but I feel bad for his parents.
Agreed. And it appears he may have been that one juror away from walking. That juror that was excused due to family medical emergency seemed pretty steadfast that he would have stayed at not guilty.
The Avery family was kept off their land for 8 days during the execution of a search warrant. 8 days!
Avery’s arrest took place 1 day before the judge and district attorney were to be deposed for his wrongful imprisonment.
Proves nothing. Was Avery guilty?
The cat incident sounded like a unintentional drunken thing. He was drunk and he picked up the cat to toss it through the flames and the results were not surprising. This guy is not very bright, imagine him drunk?
Thank you. The rest of the replys to my post were insulting. I do not watch TV, do not own one, have no need for one. Just a typical response, unfortunately PC kicked in and now I am the boogeman? Think again.
