For as long as the sport of football has been around, black quarterbacks have faced harsher criticism and have been handed shorter leashes than their white peers -- a clear double standard that continues to plague the sport.

Rush was right. Donovan McNabb WAS overrated. In his generation, Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger, Rogers, Favre were all better than he was. The sports media were calling him the best. He was good, don’t misunderstand, but he was never the best.
