Please check in, if you can.
Be safe!

I’m in Rowlett. Had a tornado touch down just two miles east of me. Tore the roof off my daughter’s friend’s house.
We’re just fine, but our power is out. I saw the flash when the transformer blew.
Tornado now on the ground near Leonard, maybe 35 miles from here.
Temp in Denton 51, McKinney 70. They're maybe 20 miles apart. Fits hitting the shan.
Tornado north of Farmersville.
bump!
OMG, I did not realize that severe storms and tornadoes are whipping across Texas. I hope that none of our FReeper buddies sustain injuries or loss from these storms. I extend that to ALL of the folks in Texas. The weather videos and reports look very bad!
Nice and warm here in Corpus Christ. A little wind, but that is then norm.
Down in Burleson- Calm before the storm.
I’m seeing a report from 6:05pm CST of a very large tornado on the ground just east of Waxahachie airport.
So they say its its on the ground 15 mu NE of me and I watched it blow thtought so why are they telling me to hunker down?
It’s like the old couple walking in the park ans bird craps on her head.
She hollers “Quick get me a piece of toilet paper!!!!” and he says “What the hell for? that birds a quarter mile away by now”
LOL.... when we get a storm .....we get stormed right proper. Was stationed in UP of Michigan at Kincheloe, then Minot North Dakota,a stint at Fairbanks Alaska and Thule Greenland was last COLD assignment. An the coldest damn place on earth is home....:o)
Panhandle Texas ! Was 60 degrees yesterday ....:o)
Near Austin it was 73 when we woke up at 5:30 AM, with 90% humidity and fog. The high today was 79. Tomorrow at 4:00 AM the cold front will hit with high winds with rain and possible tornados. The South Plains around Lubbock may have up to 16” of snow. Oh well, it was in the 80s last week, so it was time for some winter weather. You can’t be a weather wuss and live in Texas.
Cold as a booger on the South Plains with snow on the way.
