Do not have a crock pot of chili, but do have 10 cans of the wolf. Heat is the big issue, but wolf is good enough cold.

So thee you have it,I am a meteorological dooffus...
Well, you could decide to go out and build a snow man, but I kinda don't guess you're up for that. LOL

I think you meant Amarillo instead of Abilene.
I’ve been up there on sunny days when it was bitterly cold, so I hope everyone has a good stock of food, booze and firewood.
I’ve just had gusty winds and steady rain here about 4 miles due West of DFW airport. I’ve previously been through all of the areas that were hit with the tornadoes, as some ancestors lived over that way.
Amazing to see so many TX FReepers posting on this thread! Glad to read that you are all safe!
Forecast just changed for Abilene. Two hours of heavy snow for that city. According to AccuWeather.

#NEW Confirmed 3 people have died in Collin County from tonight’s #tornado. Sadly, one victim is an infant
My heart is breaking poor baby :(
Not yet....... winds are killer right now. I know folks are not as good and warm as us with a wood stove but linemen need to wait. Winds up to 60+ mph.
Dangerous crap....
Prayers up for those in the ‘near white out’ zones...Amarillo, Abilene, Lubbock...etc.
Thank the Lord for your wood stove ;)
Forecast just changed for Abilene. Two hours of heavy snow for that city. According to AccuWeather.

But he was talking about the Panhandle and Abilene isn’t there.
Too bad about Abilene getting heavy snow. It’s that junk blowing to the Southeast from NM and El Paso.
I was just at the Garland range near you on Wednesday. A little windy, but fun nevertheless.
