President Barack Obama will use his Sunday night address on terrorism to urge the American people not to 'give in to fear' after the California shootings, and may also ask Congress to take action on gun control in the name of national security, according to Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
Speaking on NBC's 'Meet the Press' on Sunday morning, Lynch said that 'dealing with guns is one way to handle the violence crime issues that we have in this country'.
The White House confirmed Obama would provide an update on Wednesday's shootings in San Bernardino that killed 14 and wounded 21, and discuss the broader threat of terrorism, including how it has evolved and how he plans to defeat it.
As part of these plans, security officials are saying that changes to US visa regimes and airline security may follow this week's shootings.
The president's address comes as officials admit that the US has 'moved to an entirely new phase in the global terrorist threat'.

I can’t even begin to debate these people.
It’s so clear now, that the man in the WH is totally and surreally out of touch with reality.
Secondly, he’s a coward in the greatest proportions, every similar to Jimmy Carter. This is identical to the crisis Carter put HIMSELF into with over a year left until Reagan whipped him.
I see the same thing happening here, a huge series of blunders and mishaps, with our finest men and women fighting over there.
I cannot understand why we should be sending our people over there to re fight in a war that our president retreated from.
But, he will tip toe into this, and we will see atrocities committed against our people there if and when they are captured. It’s a hell hole, where we need to stay the heck out of and concentrate on protecting ourselves here at home.
It took me a while to figure out this “not giving into fear” business, but it finally hit me:
What obama means by “not giving in to fear” is: don’t buy a gun and don’t stop voting for Democrats.

I don’t expect to watch the jerk - couldn’t pay me to but I hope he factors in and focuses on the “widows and orphans” that the his loony buddies just created in San Bernardino..and the many more U. S. citizens who WILL BE if he and his administration have their way of bringing more terrorists in. Isn’t it against the law to be this nuts? If it isn’t, it should be!
The Regressive Democrats consider Courage to be Fear, thus they don’t want US to be Courageous and Attack Islum....so they say don’t give in to your Courage.
