It's early in the 3rd Qtr, and the Packers just scored (even though they fumbled the football into the end zone).
C’mon man, you got the memo. Years on FR say “Game Playing - spoiler” - click to read....
Ha. Well, I hope you’re not a Detroit fan.
Anyway, just caught the end of the game and it was great. I’m not a fan of either team, but that was a good finish!
I just like some good football.
(Go Brock-Ohs’) - Denver!

Yea, I really got the “C’mon Man!” and I deserved it. Won’t happen again. I live in the Detroit area, but I honestly can’t call myself a Lyin’s fan . . . I mean, C’mon!
Yogi said it best. “It ain’t over til it’s over.”
It was a facemask. The helmet was out of normal alignment at the end of the play. Detroit, back to the dirty play they are known for.
you’re just desperate for this bulsh*t to be true.
Ummm. That photo proves that he DIDN’T grab the facemask. He has his jersey in that photo.
...but finding ways to lose football games since 1957...all on their own.
it’s the NFL coddling their marquee players . . . again. Nauseating.
Bingo.
Desperate? I didn't care who won. I'm a Colts and Giants fan.
It’s all good.
I like sports as a diversion FRom what we’re facing everyday.
I’m halfway through Matt Bracken’s essay on “Tet”. Good stuff and recommended read/share.

I’m still trying to find a good clip of the face mask call. COULD be that Rodgers twisted his head himself to make it APPEAR that the DET guy had a momentary finger on the mask.

It was clearly a facemask, but interesting that the ref in back called it rather than the ref in front. The Detroit player knew he was nailed as soon as he saw the flag.
Just watched it again and another flag came in, but the ref in front closest to the play didn’t call it.
That’s funny, when I was little my dad shook hands with a guy and then the guy spoke: and I said “Mr. Coffee!” Yankee fan ever since I got the explanation! (And Joe D. Smiled at me :)
EXCUSE ME, YOU WERE SAYING?
Best. Finish. EVER.
And I don’t even like either team that much.
Flutie-esque
Go Broncos!

Thanks for the link. Even commentator Phil Simms agreed with the call. Lions' coach didn't argue or get upset. Neither did the Det player called for the penalty.
So, after that bizarre last-second truly desperate play with 3 or 4 rear laterals, eventually one being ridiculously tossed about 10 yard behind to GB QB Rodgers, where he is quickly wrapped up in what SHOULD have been a game winning tackle, the Det tackler momentary gets a finger on Rodgers' face mask twisting his head ever so slightly, resulting in a game-extending 15-yard penalty and automatic first down (it was a 4th down play) with ZERO time on the clock, GB is granted one final play from something like their own 35 or 40 yard line...with ***ZERO*** time left on the clock (0!), as a game cannot end on a defensive penalty, Rodgers somehow manages to scrambled clear, and while running forward, with all of his strength, and with that forward momentum, heaves a 65 or 70 yard long pass high up in the air which comes down a few yards deep in the Det end zone into a crowd of both Det and GB players, one GB player leaps high in the air making the immaculate 'hail mary' reception!!! As one freeper said last night just after it happened: "Ho-Lee-Cow"!! Has to be one of the most incredible finishes ever, all things considered!
These lateral plays seem to be more common since the Miami Duke game.
It adds another element of excitement to the game which I think is badly needed.
The excitement level on many games this season, particularly many of the night games, has been through the roof. There have been some amazing finishes.
