She's the reigning champion and her name is Laura. Listen to her when she answers a question.
Too late for Jeopardy here in the east.
Alex, is the answer “Where is the video clip?”
I’ll take Vanities That Make You Go ‘Huh?” for $1000, Alex
We noticed her too.
LOL!
Are you talking about the woman from Georgia who drags out the last syllable? If so, I sort of like her.
I even like New England Yankee and New Jersey accents.
Yes. She has a weird vocal tic wherein she elongates of the last syllable in each utterance. For what it’s worth I can imitate her perfectly.
What is a Bunny with a Pancake on its Head?
Yep, that’d be her. I’m from Calif so maybe it’s some kind of Georgia accent. To me, it’s annoying listening to her.
you forgot to post link
From her name, the woman who won today is from Panama City and could be the Granddaughter of a politician who was friends with my Grandfather.
Just a guess tho because of the name.
Yes she is very annoying. I missed the end of the show today and I was hoping she had lost. Damn.
I think she does it on purpose because she didn’t do it when he was talking to her today.
A few of them lately have annoyed me. That Matt Jackson? that was on a few months ago and just last week for Tournament of Champions. So glad he lost. He always cut Alex off and was always in a hurry.
Yes, she was VERY irritating!
We cheered when she got beat tonight. Couldn’t get any of the questions because we spent too much time mocking her phony pretentious voice.
She’s a lawyer. Told my wife that if I were the judge presiding over any of her cases in court I would sentence both her and her client to life in prison with no parole just so I would never have to hear her voice again.
She must have been really, really irritating then.
She lost? Great! I missed Final Jeopardy today.
“Workplace Violence for $500, Alex.”
