Anybody else see a visibly upset Jeraldo lamenting that he chartered a jet to retrieve his daughter from France but the airports were closed. How crass. Hundreds of thousands trapped in France just like his "studying abroad" (Paris partying) daughter. What a true liberal. Don't ever trust them. When it comes right down to it, they are only concerned about themselves.
How is this elitist turd EVER going go back on TV and speak as a Democrat who is for the “little guy” again??
Average Americans can’t afford to send their kids to Paris much less afford a private plane to fly across the Atlantic for them. Not to belittle his situation, it’s horrible.
BUT like I said how do these people win over average Americans with this hypocritical lifestyle compared to what they SAY they are championing???
I happened to click upon Fox News last night only to be assaulted by the two “faux drama queens” Geraldo Rivera and Shephard Smith as they magnified the events unfolding in Paris.
I think we can all agree that despite Jerry’s politics BEFORE this event, his current feelings about his daughter are understandable. It took THIS to make him notice the Islamist problem. Now that it’s HIS daughter, he cares.
The question is whether he’ll be different afterwards.
Personally, I’m glad to see him suffer a little after what he’s put Americans through with his traitorous BS. And I bet he doesn’t learn a thing.
That's the point I was making in my previous post on this thread. It was not necessary for America to listen in on his phone conversation with his daughter. If he would have spoken to her off camera, then reported "I just spoke with my daughter, who is in Paris this evening. She's badly frightened, but is safe", I would have no problem with that.

I am glad you said that. Either these people have no children or they do not understand that scared bond between a parent and a child. I dislike Geraldo as much as the next guy but for this I recognize his reasoning. Flame away.

I believe the problem is not that he shows concern, as it is expected, but that he poo pooed the concern of others for so long, because, well, islam is not a terrorist organization.....
Geraldo could have had the conversation with his daughter off the air. There was no reason to dramatize the event by having a personal phone call with his daughter on the air.
But Geraldo, the ‘drama queen’, only knows one way to report the news fair and balanced.
Well Whorealdo was crying on TV last evening for fear for his daughter so maybe its a learning experience. Maybe he will stop with the letting them all in.

On that I agree with you. Just not about the kid that was stated.
But it has to happen before they grow those balls to fight against all the so called compassion.
That compassion is weakness. There should be no compassion toward the enemy. But the left has to recognize who the enemy is and that won’t happen until that enemy kills them outright.

I think you are missing the point...and I think some are not explaining it very well.
I have no doubt he was worried...any decent parent would be. My problem was how it was (and is STILL) being used by Fox.
Want to be scared for your child? Want to rescue them...I have no problem with that and would do the same. But do not put your feelings on national TV for all to see. That makes it look like a publicity stunt.
Fox news and he should both be ashamed for taking advantage of his fame for ratings.

Being rich gives you more opportunities.
No one rich would voluntarily give up that status (except some clergy).
