Donald Trump wasted his time associating with Schmutz Night Live
Youtube.com ^ | 11/8/15 | Me, myself, & I

I just watched most of the Donald Trump SNL stint on Youtube while doing other things. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. All I gotta say is, "Where is the eye bleach????"

Now I know that throwing out my TV set almost 40 years ago was the right thing to do. It is frightening to contemplate that most people spend many hours of their day watching stupid filth on TV. And even more frightening to contemplate that what they see on this portal from the city sewers forms the basis for most of their opinions.

This SNL show was so nauseating and just such plain dirt that I had to wonder why Donald Trump would associate himself with this nonstop pageant of brainless excrement.

Does anyone have a clue as to why Donald Trump would so lower himself by hosting this inane garbage? I sincerely hope he took a long hot shower and used plenty of soap after taping, lest he bring home any hitchhiker particles of fecal material from the set.

Disagree. Criticize the man on policy but to buy into the media narrative just because you want him to fail is not the way.

Mo Mother’s review of the episode: “What the hell, is this entertainment nowadays. This whole show was stupid”

MKT 101.

He wasn’t doing it for the informed voter.

Barry the vote over from the useless idiots, which I agree with.

What’s the alternative..

I think Dr Carson was right about SNL. It didn’t help Sarah Palin going on there at all and that show still trashes her

Seriously? It’s a sketch Comedy Show. If you want Voters to know who you are, you do whatever is necessary to reach them. If it takes an SNL Appearance, so be it.

IMHO Trump did fine. I swear, it seems like people here are living inside a “get off my lawn you damn kids” bubble.

Trump probably got more people supporting him from this appearance simply because it shows them that he isn’t what the Media portrays him to be. The big Immigrant Protest fizzled and even backfired with the Larry David Joke.

Trump obviously has a sense of humor, he isn’t stiff like Hillary seemed to be when she appeared and it looks like he gets along with People (castmembers) who would not necessarily give him the time of day.

Most people don’t live and breathe Conservative Politics and for better or worse, a Candidate that gets out amongst people who may not agree with his politics and ideas can actually gain some respect from those same individuals.

Funny how Romney was relentlessly attacked and ended up apologizing for being Successful and Wealthy. Trump has not fallen into that trap nor will he.

I remember Romney being told by some Blacks not to show up in their Neighborhood where he was planning on Campaigning. Trump, despite his Wealth and Politics would not have that kind of reception. If it’s his Celebrity, so be it. It means he can go where no Republican has gone before and spread his message.

Disclosure, Cruz is my first choice and Trump is my next and final choice. The others fall by the wayside, period.

For the most part, it was disgraceful and beneath Trump's stature. The writers should be fired for not being at all funny. The last trashy skit with the two girls and their comments was the worst part. Obscene, not funny, and probably meant to soil Trump with the general sewer dialog.

It would have been so much better with Gilda Radner, Belushi, Eddie Murphy, Dan Akroyd and others who could have carried the show with or without better scripts.

Trump should have put the kibosh on that last obscene skit as well as the black female at the news desk who was a disgrace. She was filthy and I wanted to turn off the TV.

I would strongly advocate laying off personal attacks and stick to the issues.

Mark Levin said he doesn't condone any candidate using the media attack on Carson to further their own campaign. He didn't say Trump but only Trump took to twitter to parrot media talking points.

Seems to me that complaining about the media doing this sort of crap only to turn around and use it is somewhat less than honorable.

I heard this, too. I think people are getting really turned off by him being constantly negative. It doesn’t bother me personally, but I do remember a little something called the 11th commandment. Seems like only Cruz remembers that one.

it’s called trying to get as much youth vote as possible which I think he’ll do much better than any recent Republican.. relax and wait for Tuesday

The yoofs aka young skulls full of mush will appreciate that he came on their show. They can still curse him but he made the effort which is important. Trump has to at least make that first impression on our yoofs who generally prefer to tune out politics which make them fertile ground for demagogic Democrats and assorted scum like Obama
The Donald showed up which is half the job according to Rush Limbaugh. I look forward to the Limbaugh analysis come Monday.

SNL has the worst humor writers on the planet. My 13 year old son could write better. In fact, my dog could scratch out something better.

I loved Trump’s appearance! Hubby and I thought he did great. I do agree that the two prostitutes’ skit was trashy, but Trump did distance himself from it at the end. SNL is on at midnight and the humor is supposed to be ‘cutting edge’. Loved the part where Larry David called Trump and racist and wanted his $5,000. . . loved the part where Mexicans gave President Trump a check for the wall that was more than required . . and loved the part where Telemundo was speaking only English. Also loved the Jeb Can Fix It joke. We are not SNL fans . . but it was worth watching with Trump as host.

You’re probably right. I haven’t watched SNL in years, but did so yesterday as Trump hyped that it would be good. It was not! Not at all - there was no humor whatsoever in anything in which he appeared.

I won’t watch trash, and if Trump wouldn’t have agreed to host a trashy show. I know Trump did not write the material. I hope he did manage to make it plain that he disdained the prostitute scene, as it sounds from your report.

Now that Trump has made a deliberate journey into cheapness, I hope he makes an extra effort to be classy and frame his SNL involvement as irony. As I said, I wouldn’t have done it at all, but there are graceful ways to deal with mistakes.

Yes... I would be asking the question, in what sense did he imagine it would be good, what did he know. Was the script sprung on him at the very last moment?

This isn’t unforgivable, but I hope he learns something from it. Play too nicey nice with our modern dirty-Rat crowd and they will eat your lunch and leave nothing but their droppings, and tell you that it was an honor.

The idea behind his appearance on SNL was NOT to speak of issues and his way of handling them. It was instead meant to have those who watch the show, mostly young and mostly Left see him in a different light than has been portrayed by the Liberal Media.

His self mockery and evident sense of humor allows others to see the lie behind his being portrayed as some sort of monster. The criticism here of Trump because he was in their opinion “not funny” is as silly as what a NY Daily News columnist had to say. She hammered trump on his inability to dance, as if he was a professional.

There was a reason why so many demanded NBC cancel Trump and their fears were realized because Trump emerged as far more likable than others who had never seen him but only heard of him believed.

Larry David makes a good Bernie Sanders. Almost everything else about the show sucked so hard, I thought the entire planet might end up in Times Square.
