I just watched most of the Donald Trump SNL stint on Youtube while doing other things. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. All I gotta say is, "Where is the eye bleach????"
Now I know that throwing out my TV set almost 40 years ago was the right thing to do. It is frightening to contemplate that most people spend many hours of their day watching stupid filth on TV. And even more frightening to contemplate that what they see on this portal from the city sewers forms the basis for most of their opinions.
This SNL show was so nauseating and just such plain dirt that I had to wonder why Donald Trump would associate himself with this nonstop pageant of brainless excrement.
Does anyone have a clue as to why Donald Trump would so lower himself by hosting this inane garbage? I sincerely hope he took a long hot shower and used plenty of soap after taping, lest he bring home any hitchhiker particles of fecal material from the set.
Get over yourselves.
I don’t know.
All I can say is that the musical guest was truly bizarre.
I guess I’m not cool anymore.
it’s called trying to get as much youth vote as possible which I think he’ll do much better than any recent Republican.. relax and wait for Tuesday
I think you have it backwards. When Hillary was on, they seemed to really step it up a notch to boost her appearance. With Trump, from the very first, incredibly dull scene, throughout the show, the writing was atrocious and unfunny...I think BY DESIGN to hurt Trump. They knew they would get great ratings. They already made their boffo profits with advertisers. All that was left was to leave a bad taste in those viewers mouths...with Trump as the focus of that negativity.
You just don’t appreciate Interpretative Dance.
It’s put there as a visual cue for those of us who are too wonderfully obtuse to notice all the angst in the song, itself.
:)
Net gain for Trump. Probably neutralized a few haters. Maybe more than a few.
Like the ad for the movie about Benghazi?
;)
SNL used to have good political jokes and skits. They also used to treat people equally. I guess no more. Other than the political jokes, SNL has always been either trashy or lame or both, with a few funny exceptions not with hanging around for.
Off topic, sorry//// the clash between Carson and Trump is going to be interesting. No one should listen to me but if the Trump campaign would, I would strongly advocate laying off personal attacks and stick to the issues. I am still favouring Trump over Carson but it’s getting close. I really liked the way Carson handled the west point thing and I hated how Donald handled it.
I think they should be a ticket.
Trump/Carson 2016.
I got through the first 15 minutes , but didn’t laugh once . Gee -am I losing my sense of humor ???
Carson is getting more and more bizarre every day. And, he is nowhere tough enough for the job. Can you imagine what Putin would do to him? I think he would be a detriment to Trump, an albatross around his neck.
Agree ...the guy is sounding more like a looney every day - and has about the same amount of personality as a stone .
What did you guys expect?
Jeez.
It was like watching manga on acid. Very disturbing.
watch it before it is removed for copyright reasons.
I think SNL always been 30% funny, 70% filler. Over time people forget the filler and remember the best stuff, and it seems like it used to be better. A lot of the classic skits seemed stupid to me at first, but got funnier with time. I remember reading that the first Wayne’s World skit go over well, but Meyers and Carvey both liked it so they did another and it became huge.

Where’s the link on YouTube for this? All I could find was the monologue intro.
Trump got more out of the protests than his own appearance...I mean, that was God awful. People posting on Twitter about how great the episode is must be getting paid.
