the bullpen doesn’t stink- tyler clippard stinks and while i love Terry Collins, i shake my head every time he pulls Addison Reed (who’s been pitching great) after a single inning and puts in Clippard...every time!!!

Clippard and Reed are the team's weakest links.

It's a great team, but having good setup men is important.

Mets are by no means a “great team” and i’m one of their biggest fans on Freep...they have potentially dominant pitching, a terrific closer and when they hit they can be awesome- but:

1) they are a mediocre defensive team
2) they are a terrible base stealing team
3) they are very streaky at the plate and all too often leave to many men in scoring position...

you are also dead wrong about Reed- he has a 1.17 ERA with the Mets and has given up a single hit in five innings pitched in the WS and NLCS..(2 hits/1 run in the NLDS).

not a fan- i miss the Met guys (Cohen and Keith Hernandez) on SNY. I’ve been listening to the Mets announcer Howie Rose on the web rather than buck on TV...i do find harold reynolds insightful..

I enjoy Harold Reynold’s commentary on the game . . . any time something happens from routine to controversial he has and encyclopedic knowledge of it and explains it so that even I can understand it.

Great team meaning they are one of the top two teams at this point. And I'm not a fan of the Mets.

1) they are a mediocre defensive team

The top team the Royals, they don't hit home runs. Every team has their faults.

Most teams are streaky. That's baseball.

As an observation, I have found Met fans to be overly critical of their own team. You hear them on the radio whining away criticizing their team.

That's not so say that all Met fans are like that.
