I waited for Mr. Ward. The HAS to be a World Series thread on this forum. Read tweece for typos.
KC had more trouble in the ALDS and ALCS than this one.
Didn’t this game start yesterday?
Looks like the Royals learned something in “Clutch City” ;-)
No doubt. They really got a lot further than they had any business getting. I honestly didn’t think they would beat the Dodgers.
Congratulations to the Royals, you kicked our ass, lol.
it ain’t over just yet :)
Yep, my brothers and I used to drive two hours to KC to watch the A’s in the old stadium. You are bringing back fond memories.
Good for the rookie. He’s the only Met with a hit since 9:30 pm yesterday, lol.
Forever Royal!!!
I’m sooo glad Marty McFly was wrong!
Kansas City Royals!
2015 World Series Champions!!!
Woo Hoo!!!
CGato
No more games. No moe vames. The Kansas City Royals are your 2015 World Series Champions!!!
It’s over now. Good series, good game.
Since 0 became POTUS we are in an alternate timeline
Really dishearting knowing the last three games the Mets had the lead in the 8th inning and blew the games. First their closer fell completely apart in the series, and their relief pitching was nonexistence in the late innings. Add that to Daniel Murphy going from the hero of NY to the goat of NY in a week’s time and you know how the Royals won. Even with not getting much hitting, their pitching lost is for them. I think Royals were not to be denied and those young players wanted it more. I also think this is Murphy’s last game and the old coach who had never made it to the World Series just might be fired.
Congrats to the KC Royals!!
Great game...great series!!
(Let’s see if the Mets offer congrats, on their home field.)
Mets have a lot to be proud of.
You mean 2095!!?? (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!) Seriously, Congrats to the KC Royals and their fans!
The Mets are going to need some changes to go along with their quality starting pitching. Sorry to say, Wright is fading, Cespedes is not the answer, and I think Collins just coached his last game in NY. They need to trade a couple players for some “contact hitters.”
Congrats to Royals fans! Those guys really put the hammer down.
In the year 2525, if man is still alive, if baseball does survive, the Cubs will still dive......
Sitting here in KC in awe. Hearing fireworks outside everywhere. I have no words. A long and excellent evening. Great bunch of guys...
