After getting another attack site warning subsequent to telling Firefox to allow Free Republic, I went to the "Submit Badware" page and attempted to post the below wake up call. The site refused to let me post, saying my Captcha spam filter entry was incorrect a dozen times after I typed it in correctly a dozen times. This attack on Free Republic may be an illegitimate or Google rogue operation and should be looked into.
===== There is NO malware at this site. Take it off your badware list. Your miscategorizing of this conservative news site can be construed as political suppression and will result in an investigation by the same demographic that is suing the IRS for similar types of suppression.
Thanks for trying, Yollopoliuhqui.
All you Chrome and Firefox users note, this isn’t happening on Internet Exploder. FWIW.
It appears the problem has stopped
I’ve had no malware warnings. But I am curious to know the meaning behind your screen-name “Yollopoliuhqui.”

Regarding Google’s malware database and malware “attack site” warnings on FR [Thread II] ^
Happened to me again this afternoon...................Firefox.................
I contacted the owners and they verified they have been receiving a lot of these attacks of falsely being reported as abusive, despite having been verified by numerous third parties that their website contains no malware. Google is apparently falling for the censorship of anti Christian bias. If they aren't complicit in this then they need to be a little more proactive about these frivolous complaints by people with an agenda. And these other browsers ought not to be so trusting of Google. Time to start using Bing or some other search engine. It's still a sort of free internet after all. But the clock is certainly ticking.
bump for ltr
Not for me...and it’s getting pretty dadgum annoying.
Just got it again on the previous post
I’ve moved to Pale Moon —they let me open /w a blank page and not the silly “Bing” ads.
NOTE: It has not happened to me using firefox.
My settings:
TOOLS
OPTIONS
SECURITY
uncheck “block reported attack sites”
uncheck “block reported web forgeries”
I let my antivirus software handle those issues.
I am getting them randomly. I have to use IE...I hate IE
Actually happened to me right after posting that
This kind of stuff seems to happen every election cycle.
I bet it has something to do with the movie about Dan Blather and how FR busted that hoax
Never a problem on a Linux Desktop running Firefox with Ghostery.
what is interesting is I can’t make it happen, so maybe it is related to some malicious cookies doing it to those that have them, or backdooring a cookie.
Thank you so much, deport!
Me too. It’s incredibly difficult to work the FReepathon with this malware message coming up constantly.
