MIAMI You dont have to go to Japan to try Burger Kings black-bunned Whopper.
Burger King is bringing it to the U.S. just in time for Halloween.
Something wicked is coming, the burger chain on Twitter, with a brief promo video featuring thunder and lightning and a lunar eclipse, with a burger standing in for the moon.
But its not just the color, insists Burger King. Its also the flavor, with A.1. sauce baked into the bun. According to Burger King, its the sauce that turns the buns black.
While the pitch-black bun gives the Halloween Whopper sandwich a look that may make some think hmmmmm? the burgers classic A.1. flavors will have tasters saying mmmmm,' Burger King said.
Burger King has been selling colored Whoppers in Japan. As part of a summertime promotion, the chain sold samurai burgers with red or black buns.
In the U.S., the black Whopper has 710 calories, 43 grams of fat and 1.5 grams of trans fat. That makes the nonblack Whopper look relatively slim, with its 650 calories, 37 grams of fat and 1.5 grams of trans fat.
The black-bunned Whopper is only the latest of a series of experiments that Burger King is conducting. It recently launched a burger merger with several other burger chains, including Wendys, to create hybrids of their rival burgers.
While the Whopper looks appetizing, it appears to have some unpleasant residual effects in the toilet. People have been taking to Twitter to say the black bun is turning their poop green.

Similar issues when I eat a whole package of Oreos.
But I digress....
Reading the reviews is almost as addictive as the candy sounds to be.
And yes, if it’s the sugar substitute, then it could happen with any sugarless candy.
Haha, I remember that episode.
Yes, I think some aspiring writers have taken to Amazon to express their creativity. When I read those a while ago, I remember one where the guy ate a handful of those bears before going into a job interview and the Hariboo came for him in the middle of the interview. He said it had happened years ago and he had never known it was the Bears that had ruined his life until he had heard about the posts on Amazon.
That “chicken patty” seems to have some appendages.
I’ve wondered if some of those accounts really happened or not.
But it makes for amusing reading anyway.
I’m goin’ green!
ROTFLOL
Ha, ha, ha. Vegan, good one. Actually I’m not vegan or anti BK. I actually had a whopper a couple of months ago and it was pretty awful. Not what I remembered.
Happy FReeping!
>>>They gave my little brother green diarrhea<<<
I hope you just took his word for it. #;^)
>> An unexpected side-effect...
Before getting into the excerpt, figured the swarthy buns had too much fiber for the typical Whopper chomper.
I figured since it originated in Japan they probably used squid ink there to make the buns black and I wondered what they would substitute here.
