What is the shelf life of Spam?
Nobody knows. It hasn’t been made in decades and all the records were lost in a fire so nobody knows when all the spam on the shelf today was actually made. (They stopped making it when Old Man Bush was president because it offended his Saudi buddies.
Do I have to say I’m joking?
4 gallons and get change back? Hell, I remember when you could get 5 gallons for a dollar. Yep, twenty cents a gallon. You could fill most tanks for 4 dollars.
And it was that price for years. It never went up. But once it started going up, it’s never stopped.
It started up about the time we abandoned the gold standard.

I recall as a kid going to the old log-cabin store in Northern Minnesota. Was looking at the candy with what to buy with a quarter, and was eyeing a 25 cent candy bar. the old guy said “Hey - I got some back here with the old ten cent price.”
So of course we bought those.
They smelled and tasted of kerosene - which he used to heat the place!
Well ,then why do they put a Best By date on the can?
I got some that are 3years past the date and wonder how I’ll cook it.
Can it be frozen in the cans though?
