Obviously it's BS, but IMO it means that someone reported us falsely in an attempt to drive traffic away. Anything we can do about it?
this has been going on for days.
That would explain a lot. Thanks!
thailand?
Please see #20 - I may be wrong in attributing this to malice.
Some history::

Need to understand _why_ it’s happening before imputing malace.
Not all Google links to FR are marked that way. Since FR pages frequently have links to other sites, some of those links may have or route to suspicious code. (I remember opening a FR page at work, and the IT person racing into my office terrified of something horrible happening - there were just enough off-site links/references that it triggered a “possible malicious website” alarm.)
Need Jim et al to follow Google’s links for resolving the issue a la “nope, nothing bad happening here, just lots of links & references to lots of other sites of varying repute.” It’s an automated system; false positives do happen.
Just for the halibut, I ran a check on Bing. I have Norton. Norton has Free Republic.com marked as “SAFE”.
It might depend on how the security is set up on your browser.

Did you click the link at the top, Example Search? I did under Pale Moon and Chrome. I did receive the message. The warning message is listed in each of the search results listed.
More and more I use bing.
I’m not getting any such messages on either explorer or firefox-where are you seeing it?

Thanks!
“Google is adding...”
Makes sense. What if a liberal Marxist socialist democRAT reads this site and figures out they have been all wrong all of their life and commits suicide?
Right, Google?

Just tried it - warning’s still there.
Slings link lead me to this on the top of the google page in the search area......site:freerepublic.com “thailand?”
I had that problem a few days ago, but it’s gone now.
Blah Blah Blah Bla BlahI guess that falls under the heading of the plots thickening. And, being unsurprising.

There was a thread the other day where the original posted link contained malware. i wonder if that was the cause?
